Remarks
First things first, in 2015, the admissions were done on basis of meri ie your 12th class percentage. There was no entrance test. Now the Delhi University conducts its own entrance test. You can download the application form from du.ac.in and all the information regarding your course fee and all the important dates are there on the same website. I come from the general category so I really don't know what all reservation benefits are there. Talking about the admission process, there could be several improvements. Once you've selected your college/managed to clear the cutoff, you need to go to the college with all your documents. And that is a very taxing process, I think all this could be easily done online with comparatively less chaos.
Course Curriculum Overview
So we didn't have any mid-term exams or anything. We just had our semester exams, twice in every year as there were 6 semesters. We did have some internal examinations in between which comprised of assignments, class tests, and vivas. And it's really easy to get through these and you can easily score good marks in internals as well as in end term exams.
Placement Experience
By the 6th semester, you are eligible to sit for placements. Speaking for myself I got placed in Genpact after I did my BA Voc (HRM) course but I didn't take it up as the offer was not that lucrative. And I'm talking about 2018, things must have changed now.
Fees and Financial Aid
Talking about this year, Delhi University (DU) has announced that it will not hike the admission fee for students seeking entry to various colleges affiliated to it, because of Covid 19 and its consequences across the world. Aldi the courses here are anyway very affordable as it's a public central university. There are certainly merit Scholarships for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category. For more details, you can go to du.ac.in the website. The placements in this college are not that attractive/ lucrative. Honestly, it totally depends on how your placement cell is working. But also, I believe that the university name on the degree speaks for itself.
Campus Life
The college conducts an annual fest every year which is named "Tatva" and it hosts various celebrities, be it actors, singers, dancers, DJs. You say it and we have it. Tatva is conducted around Feb-March. All the books are freely available in the library which you'll have access to. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors and whiteboards. There are various clubs, and in CVS, we call them "societies" there's the Finance Society, the Marketing Society, the music/dance/fashion society and we have the Entrepreneurial Society, etc. All of these are run by the students of the college.
