Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because first of all it opens up a lot of opportunities and a lot of good career options for you and it helps me enhance my communication skills as well as my critical thinking skills which are highly appreciated in a good career future. As everything is going on online during this pandemic, we couldn't have face-to-face interactive classes. But still, I would say that the faculty of Dyal Singh College (Morning) is very brilliant and fine and are exceedingly qualified professors. And the student-teacher interaction (even if it is online) is highly appreciable. Talking about the term exams, I would say they were organized quite well by the Delhi University faculty and were much better than our expectations, and were hassle-free.
Internships Opportunities
Around more than 70-80 companies visit the college campus for placements. Top recruiting companies like Genpact, Zomato, Bajaj Capital, E&Y, Decathlon, Wipro, etc., visit our college for placements. More than 150 students got in the session 2020-21.
Placement Experience
Students from the 5th semester are eligible to be a member of the placement cell if I am right and many students get placements in top recruitment companies with Highest CTC offered: INR 12 LAKHS per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
Earlier Delhi University was in consideration of raising the college and course fees but then this year has was announced no fee hike due to the Covid-19 pandemic as many people lost their jobs whereas the income of several people shrunk.
Campus Life
Classes are held online but I did visit the Dyal Singh College campus. It's way much cool and amazing than what I heard. The college has a very good infrastructure and is huge in the area. The classrooms, the canteen the library everything is in good condition. Also, there are a lot many societies in our college which help in building up confidence and get a lot of exposure and fun experience.
