Maitreyi College at a Glance.

After completing my 12th when I decide to opt for mathematics honors, I started looking for the best-suited colleges for me. I consulted my seniors and decided to take admission in either Maitreyi college or Gargi college. When the cutoffs were released I was getting both the colleges I wanted. Then I did further research and finally decided to go to Maitreyi College as this is closer to my home and it will save the traveling time. And today I can proudly say that I am very satisfied with my decision of this course and college.

I always had a love and interest in mathematics as a subject. I love to study as well as to teach mathematics. I think this course of Mathematics honors is the best suited for me. And the teachers of my colleagues make me love this subject even more. They are well qualified and well experienced in their field. I am grateful for getting such cooperative and talented teachers. The mathematics department of our college conducts timely events and quizzes. Also, mid-semester exams are conducted very nicely. I love the college crowd.

The college conducts an internship fair every year where students of all courses and all years can participate and can get hands-on experience of the corporate world. A lot of students every year get internships from our collge and their experience is also good. Also, research department also provides research opportunities to interested studnets.

The placement cell of Maitryi college is really good and hard working.every year the quality of companies visiting the college is increasing and the number of students getting placed is also increasing every year. Also a placement fair is conducted every year where students of all years can participate and explore. The average placement is 5 LPA and the highest package offered id 7 LPA.

The fees for maths honours per year is only Rs 9000 which is a very affordable amount . Also the college provides an EMI option to pay the fees. Many scholarships are also available for students from poor economic background. The placement in our college are very good. There is an annual internship faur also, where many big companies visit and recruit students. The placement cell is making a lot of efforts to bring the best comapanies for students. Overall thr college provides many opportunities for their students.

The annual fest Rhapsody is one of the best fests among all DU colleges where every year many renowned personalities visit us and interact with us. the department-wise fests are also conducted every year. The college has one of the best socities for students to explore. One if the best opportunity our college provides is the RESEARCH department where students along with their teaches as mentors write research papers. This opportunity is provided by only Mairteyi College as of now.
