My college review

I took admission in 2020 when I was 20 years old. I was taken admission in the computer science and engineering branch in this college through my wbjee rank. My wbjee rank was 9450. I have to complete all criteria for admission at admission time. I getting this opportunity through wbjee counseling...The college intake of students will be like 85% students through WBJEE and the remaining 15% of students through JEE Main score. There is no direct admission but then applicants shall also visit the college admission office to see if any seats are reserved for the management quota and apply for the course. The first condition to get admission in NSEC is u should be passed in ur +2 level in all the subjects for btech program then u need to sit for an entrance like wbjee and have decent rank here upto like under 20000 for diff branches it matters. You can also get through jee by CBSE.Then after that ur branch is allotted according to ur rank try to get a good rank.Here the fees are around 80000 yearly and the facult

Computer science and engineering have their own field of view. This course is huge in demand and this college is easy to afford. The student ratio is 4:1. and in the class, most of the students are from West Bengal, and one-fourth was from the other states and in the classroom, they have 60 -7- students at a time. Some of the teachers are well educated and experienced and teach in a very good manner and their teaching technics was very good for study and easy to remember any topic. This college has a semester year program so it is easy to pass the semester above the 5 sgpa as it is affiliated with MAKAUT university. The faculty of the computer science and engineering department in nsec are really good. I am not taking any names. The present HOD prof. Atanu das and the past HOD prof. Anupam ghosh has taken lots of initiatives in the improvement of the teaching-learning process, class works, labs, projects, research, and other student activities. Cse Department is accredited by the national board of accreditation

College provides a lot of internship opportunities. Different types of projects are taught by college faculties. faculties also guide students in their best possible ways. Students show their projects in their CV and resume as their skills

Almost every single student would think to get a job in any profile after four year and it happens to quite a large number of total candidates but not for all specially in on or pool campuses. Also those who are from core departments and hoping to get into core sector, are likely to face struggles most because placement cell is not doing enough productive effort to bring those companies. So there are lot to experience, but if you have maintained a good gpa(7.5+) and have gathered skills in software tools and courses then it would be doesn't seems so tough to get in any it/ites related firms.

The fee structure was decided by the makaut university because this college is affiliated with the makaut university and it was disclosed by the time off addmission and there were no hidden charges. There is no scholarship form in this college. This college has its own campus jobs and is easy to get placed for the student who qualifies for the jobs. This year increased the rate of placement by 35% as this year company came in 6th semester and placed so many students according to their criteria for the job.

Overall it's quite an ok type. It has quite a greenery open space inside the campus which is normally used for any national or college activity. Along with that in the backside near ME, BCA & BBA building, there are two common room and another midsized are is allotted with Indore game facilities like carrom(one of my favourites), TT and Badminton, these are the places where you can have a very good time with your friends. Apart from that, there is one college ground which is about 10-15min walking distance from the college itself. Apart from that If you consider spending some time with good or average books(fiction, nonfiction, business magazines e.t.c), then there is one common reading room inside the library where you can have that. But still, I think management should look for increasing a good no. of book stock with the right combination. Along with that, I think the ambience is quite good inside the campus.
