Everything is good about my college. Student as well as teachers and management are co operative. But one bad thing is there is no student body to defend or protest and bad diversion by management . Or to make them concencentrate upon our views. Actually

Entrance Preview

WBJEE, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. My rank was 1160. I preferred this college because everyone suggested it as best college and also it's best college.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, my college offer free tution see scim for meritorious students. And also poor background students obviously. And it's available for every cast and religion.

Placement Experience

Placement and job facilities are good enogh according to the current placement status. But it was more better some years ago. But now everyone is takeing responsibly to make it even better.

College Events

We celebrate almost all cultural and technical festvals all over the year. Every week Wednesday we organise a seminar. And also INTRUO is out cultural and technical festival and many else.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Get structure is feasible . For my scheme total semester fee is 11,700 rupees only. And also others are also feasible. Tution fee is only 1200 per month. So it's obviously reliable for a Eng. course.

Fees and Financial Aid

I know a lot of scholarship available from college. College officially gives a notice for poor and meritorious students. And also alumnus offer a loan scholarship. So it's reliable and obviously helpful.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities and mess are good. I didn't take hostel. But I sometimes stay in hostel. Hostel food and environment is healthy for both body and mind. Hostel fee per semester : 1900 rupees. And fooding fee is 3000 per month; 18,000 per semester.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is awesome . They helps us a lot of we get in any trouble they gives us time and advises . And also they offer a scholarship named Gabesu. Often they organize seminar and meetings with us.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is efficient. Teachers takes the man as well as lab exams very carefully. And also final exam is good enough to determine a students merit and hard work obviously.

Faculty

Best Teachers , faculty members and all other people are very much helpful. And friendly too. Students and management co operates with each other. And also students are very good.

A comprehensive review of MAKAUT , WB

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

ELIGIBILITY FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT: At Brainware University students generally become eligible for campus placement from the final years of their course. For many programs placemnet preparation sactivities such as aptitude training, soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews begin earlier, you can say that these activities are incoporated from the 1st semester itself. COMAPINES VISIT: Several reowned and reputed compaines from IT, management,healthcare,media, and core sectors visits the university for campus recruitment. Placement drive include companines from domains such as software services, consulting,education,sales digital marketing etc. For my domain CSE AIML companies like Infosys,Amazon,Cognizant,Adobe etc visits. Each year multiple students receive job offers through campus drives and some students also secure multiple offers depending on their skills and performance. HIGHEST AND AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED: The highest package offered varies by course and recruiter and also with top performing students receive highest packages based on their role requirements and skills. It range from 12 LPA to 45 LPA. The average package offered to students is competitive for a private university and aligns with industry standards for entry level roles. These generally range from 3.5 to 8 LPA. PRECENTAGE OF STUDENTS GETTING PLACED: Placement outcome mostlky depend on academic performance, attendance, communication skills, technical knowledge, and participation in training sessions. Students who actively engage in placement preparation have better placement success. About 98% students were placed in 2023. Students become eligible for campus placement starting from 6th semester ,meanwhile u can also get paid internship from 5th semester itself .The companies which visited the campus most frequently are Cognizant ,TCS ,Infosys ,IBM ,PwC ,BMC ,Tavisca ,Wipro ,Amazon .Tavisca provided over 12 LPA while BMC provided over 14 LPA ,meanwhile in 2024 ,a new record of highest package emerged which is of 21 LPA.The Average package is 480,000 rupee CTC .Over 80 to 90% of students are placed and the college has a very good alumni network which provides u with referrals and possible jobs.I plan to join a IT company after getting my degree

Avg package is 10 lpa like . Jft and pst branch has full 100% placement. My plan after getting the degree is to be placed in top notch mnc & work as SDE.

I have not applied in any other college Before taking admission in this college. I have availed OBC-NCL quota and homestate quota for the admission. The admission criteria for my program is based on the ranking in JEE mains exam.The minimum cut off rank to take admission in this program is 30,000 and my ranking was 19,000 in OBC-B quota. The admission process in this college is done by counselling.This counselling is done by JOSAA.
