ALL about WEST BENGAL STATE UNIVERSITY

If you want to get admission in M.Sc. then first you have to fill online application, then they will take a MCQ based test. There are 50 questions and negative for wrong answers. There were 34 seats but now 40 seats. This University has a 40/60 rule, 60% of seats are for home students and 40% for others. Which means if you are an outer student then there are 16 seats available for you. In these 16 seats are distributed among the different caste as well according as government rule. If you qualify the test then they will provide a date for admission, if any student is absent then that seat will fulfill in next counseling.There are one Professors , 3/4 associate professors, 2 assistants Professors and some guest lecturers.In this University any one can take admission if they are graduated no minimum marks required.This is an average level University according my experience.

I had given many tests in different universities. My first test result published from here. I had qualified and took admission. After that I got many chances in different universities but i didn't change , that time i had not much knowledge about other universities. There are very few faculties, one Professor, 3 Associate Professors, 2 assistant professor, and some guest lecturers. Some of them are extremely good and some are good. Different teacher has different methods, surprise test was one of them. They take test only those topics which are taught in classes.

The name of the scholarships is SVMCM,KANNYASREE MINORITY, etc. At the time of admission, they will charge 7000 approx. then at the start of every semester 3000 Total: 7000+3000+3000+3000, They will charge caution money but after last semester they will back your money if you claim
