Remarks

I also applied for Rajdhani college but the faculty and environment in Maitreyi seemed very suitable for studies. The minimum marks criteria for my cutoff was 93% and the teachers and students very much helped at the time of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because of my liking for mathematics as a subject. There were around 10 teachers and we have on average 4 subjects every semester taught by 6 teachers, around 2 teachers for practicals. The faculty is highly educated and all M.Phil and Ph.D. teachers. The exams were 2 times in each semester including university and internal exams and the syllabus was easy to cover for exams since teachers used to provide proper notes.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Lots of companies came to college to take the placements like the ones including statistical work for the statistics students, some government projects regarding the population data counting un various parts of Delhi were also offered.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students become eligible for placement from the 4th or 5th semester and no of offers made were around 5 the highest package is around 4 lakhs and the lowest around 2 lakhs. The percentage of students placed was 15% and i plan to go for a master's degree after being graduated.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is around 9000 per year and I personally didn't get any financial assistance. Some of my classmates preferred campus jobs which seemed to be a good idea for a career option. Internships are also available.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest is rhapsody and the internship fair is also held around September which attracts many companies and students to be part of it. The library consists of almost every book needed. The sports team also wins lots of medals and there are several societies where students meet up for different activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
