Entrance Preview

I scored 93% in my boards and got admission through cutoff. A senior from my school advised me to go for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The current course curriculum i.e CBCS is based on a practical approach rather than just the theoretical knowledge. The curriculum has been changing a lot lately in Delhi University. Firstly there was the 3 yr program then came along FYUP then again 3 year program and now CBCS for the past 2 years.

Internships Opportunities

The college has recently started providing internship opportunities to its students. The placement and internship cell of the college recently collaborated with intern shala and thus provides a wide range of internships to the students present.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement and job opportunities are average as one is not doing any professional course the average package ranges from 2-4 lacs per annum but some companies do come up with better packages. The job profile generally relates to banking, insurance and financial services. Some of the companies that visit our college are- IDBI, ICICI, TCS, Genpact, IBM, Convergy and many others.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is almost negligible it ranges from 4000-7000 for the whole year. Different courses have different fee structures being a government college fee is really low as compared to private colleges that charge at least 10 time more fee and do not even provide the opportunities that this college provides.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since the fee is really low so load facilities are not available as such but there is a deduction in fee if one belongs from a really poor family.

Hostel Facilities

3

As is the case with most of the Delhi University colleges there is no hostel facility provided by the college but there are a large number of PG available near the colleges the PG's range from 4000 to 10,000 per month depending on the facilities .But all of the PG's the basic quality standards and ambiance.

Exam Structure

Exams structure is same throughout the university the exams are not at all hectic. If you attend your classes regularly and give the internals then Exams wont be much of an issue. To crack the exams one need to do smart work instead of hard work as in some semesters course can provide you with a lot of burden.

Admission

Delhi University releases online forms. You can select the course you want or the stream you are interested in and as soon as the cutoffs are released you can opt for the college you fulfil criteria for. There will be various cutoffs but most of the good colleges get full in the first cutoff itself. The admission process is simple just take the required list of documents to the college you are interested in and get the admission done.

Faculty

4

That's a great thing about this college. The faculty is highly knowledgeable and supportive. There are a wide range of Lecturers available for one subject. The classes are taken regularly by the lecturers. And there is a regular inflow and outflow of assignments and tests. The faculty is a mix of old and young teachers so you wont be susceptible to only one style of teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My liking for accepting influenced my decision to choose b.com hons . The curriculum prepares well for real world applications however I think that work on field give more knowledge. Teachers should teach with real life case studies and examples rather than with the bookish theories. The exam are not that though if you had go through the whole syllabus for once (nicely) you can pass the exam with good marks .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen B.Com with Economics as my course.Because I have done 11-12 from commerce site and I am interested in commerce subjects like accounts, economics. The problems that occur in this subject It takes some time to understand this. You have to study in the right way and take classes. Most importantly, if you want to score good marks in the exam, then you should not skip any exam, be it theory or internal assessment. In this field you can make your future in the lines of accounting economist, otherwise this course is the best according to me and I like it.And if you go ahead and do higher studies in this also Like you can do higher studies in accounting line Due to which your knowledge will increase further.

I would say, the curriculum is also good, like we have labs, and tutorial classes also, in which students get their answers and their doubts are solved. Area of improvement - There should be proper labs of python lecture classes.

The teaching method of the teachers are the best and their no need to change but some teachers take less time and finishes important topic so they can teach more. The time table of our college is very manageable and the timings of the paper are good and the teacher takes class test on weekly basis so it help us to learn topic easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is thorough and pertinent, in my opinion. I chose this course because it helps me understand real-world business situations by covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of commerce, such as accounting, economics, and business law. The subjects are helpful for both real-world employment and future studies like an MBA or CA. Although the course prepares us well, it could be enhanced by including more hands-on learning opportunities, internships, and professional guest lectures. To make lessons more interesting, teachers can employ more interactive techniques like group discussions and digital resources. Exams are scheduled appropriately, but occasionally the timetable feels constrained and leaves little time for review. The exam is at a moderate level and assesses more than just memorisation; it tests our comprehension of subjects.
