Remarks
Hello everyone, I'm Tannu Meena and I am in Shri ram college of commerce, in Delhi . So I have opted for bcom hons , and I got the seat through the quota as Im in ST category , therefore someone with even 86 % in ST category can easily get admission in SRCC but someone who is in general category so the cut-offs are very high for them, so during my admission time it was like 98% minimum for them .NOW I'm in 2nd year and because of pandemic we never attended the physical classes till now but still I'm so happy because of the overall performance and hardwork of all our college staff . Talking about the admission criteria - For getting admission in bcom hons. In SRCC ,You must have maths in your 12th standard in commerce ,but anyone can opt for bcom hons ,even from science field. The college releases the cut off lists and I got admission through the 3rd.cutoff list . Because of pandemic my overall admission process was through online mode only so it was very convenient for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
Talking about my course so it is like accounting is my favourite subject and I wanted to do more in it , to get more knowledge about different accounting and even for learning business laws and income tax so these all really encouraged me for opting this course. Talking about the faculty , so overall there are good numbers of teachers and professors and they are totally enough for our college All the teachers and staff are well educated with high education degrees mostly all teachers had done their masters ,PhD . The teacher's are very cooperative and always ready to help the students . As I have never attended the physical classes but I have gain experience in online mode . Their teaching methods are really effective and efficient for the students ,they use projectors ,Mac's and laptops for teaching us ,they try every possible aspect for teaching the best. The Open Book examinations are there in every semester in the online mode nd very easy to pass , it's like 2 semester in 1 year
Internships Opportunities
There are many intership programs with stipend paid , summer internship are there with max 1.5lakh stipend last year companies like CIC . Your resume tell the recruiters about yourself who you are and your potential to do and achieve anything . Having a good cv always plays to your advantage, but it is important to realize the purpose for which you are trying to build one
Placement Experience
Talking about the highest placement package in year 2019 so it was 31lakh And in 2020-21 the highest package was of 25 lakh by global financial firm and average was of 9.5 lakh. 53% of the total students in SRCC got placements . the top companies that came for placements were - Bain Capability Network, McKinsey and Company, many financial institutions like Deutsche Bank, Citibank, and some first time highest category recruiters including Kepler Cannon, Accenture Strategy. With 130 job offers made to the students. From 3rd year the students get the placements opportunities. My plan after getting the degree is to open my business of coffee in cafeteria
Fees and Financial Aid
For General category the fee structure is 30000 annually , for ST and SC exeptions of 100rs is there ,which is negligible . However it is affordable for getting admission in India's top college for commerce . The college provides various scholarships mostly based on their performance in exams therefore some scholarships offered to students at SRCC Delhi are SRCC Student's Union Scholarships, SRCC Alumni Association Scholarship, Sultan Chand Trust Scholarship, Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation Scholarship, Envision Scholarship, M.C.Shukla Scholarship, T.S.Grewal Scholarship, Kanwar Lal Memorial Scholarship, C.B.Gupta Memorial Scholarship, Prem Handa Memorial Scholarship, Pt. Kanahya Lal Dayawanti Punj Scholarship, Manoj Kumar Memorial Scholarship, etc. financial aids are given to those whose annual income is less than 2 lakh , there are various internships programs with stipend paid which adds on our CV and also gives us financial help.
Campus Life
There are lots of societies in SRCC which helps in building students performance and personality ,we have sports society , and I'm in the creative wing in this commitee only so it provide us about all information of the sports from all over the world ,they organises various sports programs within the college some are like FOYS . In these committee or society there are many wings like techinal ,creative, marketing wings where any student can join and enhance his thinking. Some societies like Enactus which encourages small business , this society even goes to abroad for the case studies and competitions and it's famous in our college. Societies like -computermathematics , English literature ,hindi sahitya society and manymore College is also famous for the crossroad fest where celebrities come and also for BUSINESS CONCLAVE where many famous entrepreneurs and other people comes to give useful informations In library there are all best author's books.
