Remarks

After giving CAT I applied for colleges like GREAT LAKES, IRMA, IMT Ghaziabad, TAPMI, K.J . Somaiya institute of management, and other new IIMs through CAP, etc. During my admission process, I applied to different colleges through the EWS quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

1. Postgraduation in management will provide me a broader picture of management and give me opportunities to nurture my skill sets. 2. The faculty-student ratio is 1:9. 3. The faculties are well educated from prominent universities like IIMs & IITs and their teaching method is very structured and good. 4. The difficulty level is quite high.

Some of the companies coming to our campus are : Different Finance companies: JP MORGAN CHASE & CO., YES bank, Different Consulting companies: Bain & Company, AVALON. Different Marketing companies: Mckinsey, Airtel.

1. In the 4th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. 2. Some of the companies that make a visit to campus for placements are BAIN & company, JPMC, Mckinsey, Airtel, Avendus, etc. 3. There are 100% campus placements. 4. I have decided to work for an MNC and then start my own startup.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. The entire cost of this program is 18 lakhs. 2. Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli provides a no. of scholarship for students of various categories like SC, ST, OBC & EWS. The average placement lies between 14-15 lakhs.

Campus Life

1. There are different fests on our campus like Dhurva and other fests which are mostly conducted in the month of November. 2. The books are available online as well as offline, which were sent to us through courier. 3. There are several clubs and committees like Culcomm, Finvest, sports club.

Hostel Facilities

1. The room is facilitated with AC, Bed, table and chair, wifi, and other facilities. 2. I have not been to a hostel yet. 3. I am not well aware of that. 4.No, I haven't opted for any other hostel or PG room.

Interview Experience

1. There was a Personal Interview round for the Cap round after the exam of CAT. The interview questions mainly asked were Tell me about yourself, why MBA, where do you see urself in the next 5 years, etc. 2. CAT percentile and PI round were the selection criteria of the candidate. 3. I prepared HR questions from different websites and IMS CAT material.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are decent, especially when one talks about its authenticity and compares it to a lot of colleges in the country. We are associated with some good names like EY, Asian Paints, SBI, Vedanta, etc. The mean and median hover around 8.5 - 9.5 LPA mark. Last Highest: 15 LPA and Lowest: 5.5 - 6lpa. Roles offered may not be the best, but they are decent too.

The admission process starts with CAT Exam on the last Sunday of November Every year. The eligibility to give the CAT exam is that one must have more than 50% in 10th, 12th and Graduation. After the CAT results are declared, one must go through a Group Discussion, Written Ability Test and Personal Interview. After these processes are done, a composite score will be generated based on 10th, and 12th, graduation marks, Work Experience, GD, PI and WAT performance. Majorly because of NIRF Rankings. No, no quota used. Criteria are similar to most of the B-Schools. The admission process was so so smooth.
