Remarks
For my course, the college required a certain score in an aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The required score varies with category. The admission procedure was simple, done from the website of the University of Delhi. Firstly, we had to register for the university itself, before the cut-offs were released. Once the cut-offs began coming out, the admission was done from the same page. As everything was online, there was an online webinar welcoming us and telling us what we can expect in our course and college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course purely out of interest. The faculty is great, and every one holds a doctorate in the subject they teach. Many papers have been divided among many teachers for efficiency. Some teachers prefer presentations while some prefer board teaching. Exams took place at the end of semesters, and the difficulty level was moderate.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship offers sent to me, from every field. Ramjas has a good brand name and students very often get good internships. Selection in internships often depends, however, on your resume. Having skills to show and knowledge of the work is appreciated.
Placement Experience
There is a separate cell for placement, and it assists students in their pursuits of getting a job from college placements. A lot of students grab good placement offers from the college, especially from the commerce background.
Fees and Financial Aid
Being a government college, the fees is very less. My course, which is a course that uses labs, costs 16000 rupees a year, which I think is very inexpensive. Not aware of any scholarships, but there is assistance in fees in certain cases.
Campus Life
This opinion will be second hand as I have not visited my college for classes yet. The campus of Ramjas College is actually the biggest out of any college in University of Delhi. Fests before Covid were amazing, and hosted big names and celebrities. Library is above average with a good number of books. There is a separate room for reading. Sports facility is excellent, and the campus even has a gymnasium. There are many societies, from art, dance, music, Enactus, NCC and much more.
