Remarks
The admission process is pretty easy. students have to fill the college form. they can do it either online or by taking a hard copy from the college. after that students need to wait for the results. If selected they have to make the payment within the given time and go to the college thereafter for document submission. The cut off is basically 70%.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty of the college are well educated and experienced professionals who know their subjects well. I have chosen the course of BCom because jdbi has a high record and is quite a reputed college when it comes to BCom. the Student faculty ratio is good enough to have all the teachers available to provide the students with the lectures. The faculty conducts term exams taken every 6 months which is passed by all the students under the guidance of the teacher.
Placement Experience
There is a lot of colleges which come to hire the students of the college. Students entering the third year can opt for their placement. Every student gets a chance to enrol and choose their desired position. interviews are then taken by the companies. Top companies like Wipro, EY, Delloite, A.shaw, Miss Claire, etc come to hire students. the average package is around 3lakh/annum and the highest goes to 10lakh/annum. Almost 50% of the students get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of JD Birla is a bit high. the admission fee is around 90 thousand and the semester fee ranges from 40--50k which a few parents find to be high. there has been a hike in the fee structure each year. Students are provided with the placement with their salary starting from 2.5lakh/annum to as much as 14lakh / annum depending on the company.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is good. Though the campus isn't big enough but contains everything. we have a huge library containing all the study materials and other books. students can rent 3 books at a time. We have our own fest called verve which is held every year. It's a 3 day programme. the classrooms are big enough to provide space for 50 students. There is a lot of sports activity like football, basketball, cricket, badminton, etc. Every year there is a sports day conducted by the college comprising of races and other sports. We also have social groups like NSS and HSS which are devoted to community service.
