Remarks

For faculty and it’s name. It’s very disciplined and one of the best ranked institutes for bba in Kolkata. The area it is situated is very convenient too and the teachers are very professional. The courses offered are great and the subjects in my course is very informative too. There are many opportunities given by them and many clubs too for recreational purposes.

The subjects offered in my course is really great. All of us focus on our academics it’s really important but we take part in different activities and clubs as well. Clubs include quiz club dance music drama poetry entrepreneurship clubs and a lot more

We have an annual function as well as a college fest called invictus which is a three day fest with multiple events like over 200. Also huge participation comes from people. Campus life is great too there’s a separate management department which is great

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

Admission here depends on your 12th grade and we also have a test on checking our English. Students who fail there even if he/she has good grades in 12th stands not eligible.
