Remarks

I chose maitreyi college because I had done several research about its courses, placement reports and fee structure. I found it suitable for my admission which is why I applied for it. The admission procedure was smooth, it took 2-3 hours in college for filling of form and documents verification. For my course, bsc life science, the eligibility criteria was that student must have passed class 12th examination from pcb stream with minimum 60% marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching faculty is well qualified and experienced. Their teaching style is very effective. I chose bsc life science course because I had an interest in chemistry and zoology. There are around 50 students in my class. We have continuous assessments for preparing us for the final exams.

Internships Opportunities

Many good companies along with startups and mncs provide internship opportunities to our college students. The stipend is also good that starts from 2k per month. You'll also get many project opportunities.

Placements are the average type for students of science stream because of limited job opportunities after bsc but if we work hard in our academics and also do few internships then chances of placements will be better. You'll get many internship opportunities throughout your course duration that will help you to build a great career.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is not high at all, it's very affordable. It's around or less than 10k for the first year. There are also financial aids available for students who are from weak financial backgrounds.

Campus Life

The campus life is good with lots of exposure. Our college campus is big and hygienic so the crowd and exposure are also nice. Students are friendly, seniors are helpful and the college staff is also good. We get many opportunities during our college time. We also have a society fest of many departments that makes our campus life good.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

I have applied to aryabhatta College before Maitreyi College for Women. So comparison to this college Maitreyi colleges stands out on various aspects:- Before 2024 the admission process is entirely dependent on merit list and the cutoffs.
