Decent college but better options available

I started applying for college from the second cut-off. And I applied for Eng (Hons) in Dayal Singh but when in the third list I got ANDC for b.com (Hons), I took admission in this college as my first priority was always this course. I didn't avail any quota for admission. The admission process was overall very easy and not tiresome at all. We had a departmental as well as college orientation in the next two days of starting the college. And all the details regarding the societies, course were given to us on these two days.

I chose this course because it will open up a lot of choices for me in the future. The faculty here is amazing. All the teachers are really friendly and we can discuss our problems openly with them, we can share our opinions with them. Their teaching methods are really amazing. The faculty to student ratio is about 1:18 which is very good according to me. Exams are conducted twice every year and they are not at all hard.

We do get a lot of opportunities in internships. There are internships for social media Director, pr, business analyst, etc. Students here actively participate in the internships. The stipend can vary from different companies and different roles which students play in their internships.

There is not much opportunity for campus placement in my college. If you want to have a job after graduation you have to find it yourself. Or you can talk to some teachers regarding the same. I am planning on doing MBA after my degree.

There have been no hikes in the fees of the college for the past several years. It is a Delhi University College, therefore, fees are not that much. For my course, it is 8000Rs per year. However, our college provides some scholarships for the students. Since the fees are very low itself, I feel that scholarships and financial assistance is already out of the question and everyone should pay for tuition.

The infrastructure here is not that good for sure. But if you're looking for a peaceful environment for your studies, this is the college for that. We can go to the library for the issuing of books. There are many sports and extracurricular activities in the college like cricket football badminton and there are several clubs for dance theatre and singing. Also, the commerce society conducts the annual fest of the college named Corpomaze which is a very fun event for all of us.
