Remarks

I had only applied to this college and got admission with my marks. No quota was availed since I was from the general category. 93% was the minimum mark when I applied. No counselling given was provided due to covid 19.

Course Curriculum Overview

BCOM HONS is a great course to pursue after 12th commerce and has a broad scope. There is a 54:1 student to teacher ratio. All the faculty is highly qualified and has great teachers. The exam timings were standard and the exam was Easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

The college brings up various kinds of internships from time to time. All the students are given an equal opportunity to apply to those internships. Some of them are paid and some of them are not. But most are unpaid.

Placement Experience

From the 5th semester, the students are eligible for campus placements. Mainly, Wipro has been the biggest employer in the college. The package ranges from 4 lacs to 12 lacs. About 65-70 % of students get placed in this course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the programme are quite reasonable and are about 8k a year. As far as I know they're not has been a hike in the prices. The college does provide you scholarships, both merit based and need based and that too with the least possible issues.

Campus Life

Due to COVID 19, there have been no annual fests on the college premises. The library is very well maintained and all types of books are available. The facilities available in the class are not satisfactory. The theatre department, for instance, is maintained by the students only.

Yes our college provides placements to the student and the students who are in their final semester(6 semester) are eligible for the placement. The companies which comes to college are Kpmg, dillote, Ey, bain and company etc. The average package is around 9 lakh and the highest package is 36.5 lakh.

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd semester become eligible for campus placements. Companies like pwc, EY, deloitte has visited our campus and offered packages according to the competency of student. 35-40% people do get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to move abroad and pursue ACCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really relevant and comprehensive. For eg in bcom we study business law, company law, Human Resources management, marketing, financial and corporate accounting, finance, busines maths, stats, income tax, cost accounting, economics as ge so all these are really great well structureda and do have real life practical applications therefore i think my course is really very well aligned and comprehensive in terms of the business world.

ANDC= The most average old school type campus life

Good for science courses but infrastructure and surrounding area is not good

I got admission to this college through cuet. I only applied to colleges of DU. Rather than ANDC I applied to Hansraj college of Delhi University but I did not get admission because my marks did not clear the cut off score of that college as Hansraj college is of North campus and has high cut off score.
