A review on AOT College

The good aspects are that AOT has good placement records for the last consecutive 6 years. Faculty is also outstanding and they always keep the students busy with their studies. This is very helpful when cracking exams. Labs are well equipped with necessary tools. Discipline is strictly maintained. There are technical workshops and fests organized by college also. The bad aspects are that sometimes they put too much pressure on the students regarding studies. Maintaining attendance ( above 75% ) is mandatory no matter whatever your problem is.

The course curriculum is covering most of the syllabus of competitive exams like GATE, IES. My department ( EE ) has very good well-qualified faculty members who are very friendly with students. The student to teacher ratio till 2nd year was 60:1 per class and it went upto 70:1 ( because of lateral entry ) since 3rd year. Every teacher has their unique teaching method and it is very exciting. There are 2 term exams in each semester. First term with first half of syllabus ( of a particular semester ) and second term ( with second half of syllabus ( of a particular semester ). The question level of exams are pretty average. But the semester exams are quite difficult.

Yes, I've completed the internship on Electrical Vehicles and automation from IIT BHU. We were assigned with a task to complete a assignment about the proper functioning of a automobile and to suggest suitable enhancements for that.

Students become eligible for campus placements since 7 semester. But due to this COVID-19 pandemic, we are eligible for to appear in campus placements from 6th semester. Many IT companies visit our campus like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Highest package offered in our college is about 17 LPA. About 85% students get placement each year. My plan after getting the degree is to pursue higher qualification ( M.tech ) after cracking GATE exam.

The fees structure is Rs. 60000 during admission ( which includes the fees for 1st semester ) and the fees for the next 7 semesters are 45000, 41000, 42000, 47000 like this ( approx.). The college also takes a charge of Rs. 1200 for the cultural fest organised each year. Campus placement record is vert good with an average of 85% placement each year.

The annual tech fest is on October or November and the cultural fest is on March or February each year. Almost all books related to uour field of study or course is available in the library. There are many wall magazines in which we can participate throughout the year. Different football, badminton, cricket and basketball tournaments are organised every year between different departments and it is very exciting. There is a student chapter in our college which is a website maintained hy students for students. There is anti-ragging committee organised by the seniors and some particular faculty members.
