Remarks

The main reasons were one is I'm a fresher and I always has thought of marketing of the entire course I had before. FMS is one of the best marketing campuses in India. So, definitely, that was the one reason which I choose for pursuing marketing. The second is ROI. Somebody like me who has a tight budget and has to look at a lot of assets and that of burden, in that case, ROI really helps. It helps me to become independent, and I don't have a big loan or big burden or moving forward. The third factor is the FMS criterion that is so well for my academics or my career. I started my entire Cat preparation because stories of candidate how they perform in FMS. It's like FMS doesn't have such a committee but student are resilient. This resilient nature helps in a future career as well. So, looking for it, FMS was the one place I had to be with.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum as a whole unlike some other B schools, follow a strict semester system. In a year, we have two terms. They are in the semester system. Each semester we have about 8 subjects. In the first unit, subjects are common for all and in the second year, electives with specializations we choose for the future career. So, these subjects include marketing, operation, analytic, economics, as well as fewer statistics and other domains to the entire curriculum revolving around in first and second term. For teachers, FMS has our unique well-qualified teachers. All the teachers in FMS are PhD holders. I'm not sure about the exact number but whoever is currently teaching in FMS, they are at least working with an organization or other outside the FMS. So, they have a learning experience also.

Internships Opportunities

5

As we have seen the trend in top B schools and the top recruiters. Most recruiters are opting for the PPO route for hiring. So, summer placements are extremely important for the students. So, the entire preparation was for around 3 to 4 months. All the students prepare about the domain they choose and the kind of company they wish to join. So, placements of summers are really good. They take as very high space and the average we had this year was some about INR 1 lakhs 15 thousand per month with a median of around INR a lakh 5 thousand for 100% placements.

Placement Experience

4

So the final placement of FMS is one of the best salaries. So, we have all the top companies coming in several domains. It is usually a balance program where all the domains equally participate in consulting marketing in finance, operations, etc. in recent terms, we see a lot of IT, consulting and broader domain indicates that India is following that the digital optic. The average is around is INR 26.2 lakhs and the median package is around INR 24 lakhs. The FMS has always a dream for 100% placement in every situation as covid or economically situation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of FMS is around INR 49000 per semester. If we were about to talk about any other charges that would come around 2k for every semester for exam fees, restriction, etc. Internal scholarships, there are many scholarships available by Du for the economically weaker section or the reservation category, but so then there is a special notification that comes from the college about when is the right time for admission. So, that is nothing to be worried about. FMS release 2 to 3 lakhs and we can also get a loan from near SBI Bank or Canara Bank like all process for PPO.

Campus Life

2.5

So talking about campus life, we hadn't been to campus yet. But one thing, I have been interacted with all my seniors and sometimes on the campus. I do realize if that FMS is a pretty small campus somewhere to the other B schools. But what matters is that it is vibrant campus life that you know every day we met people carrying out their own activities and societies and committees etc. they're doing their own events and then also has scholastic academics and people are doing the projects and everything. So, life is quite vibrant and I would say that even the campus is small but the people working made the experience better throughout.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

So, FMS has a unique propagation where we do not have a hostel or a room. So, FMS users use hostels of off Delhi university that is VK Rao hostel so that has around 20 rooms elongated to the top merit students. So, the top 20 of the batch are allotted in the hostel and anybody who wants to offer can offer that. The rest of the students such as my side we choose three options rented a flat, rent a PG and the third is to find a nearby. So these were the three options and given the low fee rate of FMS which is easily justified and throughout the legality.

Admission

So, usually, the B schools interviews revolve around the topic of national importance. So, the couple of topics I had were about the farms, farmers committing suicide or any preventive actions that the government has taken. What action we can take and what suggestion would be had one topic that I received from one premier B school. Another WAT topic was how Facebook active is amongst Teenagers and Youngers nowadays. The third topic I remembered was activism the right way form. These were the topics that are extremely important. They give the topics to judge how much knowledge we have about the topic and what perspective we have. We have a holistic perceptive or do we have a particular opinion.

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.
