I was lucky to get admission in this college through AIEEE. I was lucky to had state quota of Chandigarh at that time with all India rank of 18000.

Amazing, In metallurgical engineering there were just 40 seats and cooperation from teachers was overall good. First year is common for all and in second year students take classes in their individual department. College follows grading system and it is a deemed university.

Yes, It depends on year on year basis. companies like goldman sachs, JSW, TCS visit campus for internship. However, in most of the cases students have apply off campus for internship as every student needs to undergo one semester industrial training which is a part of curriculum.

Placement is wonderful, hardly anyone left without the job. Students from circuit branch gets package of upto 30 lacs. Yahoo to google, Honda to Maruti Suzukhi, Steel giants, Infosys to TCS visits in college to recruit students of final year. This deemed university is best for placements.

PEC fest is the major fest which attracts all the students of local and national colleges to participate in various events which makes this fest a wonderful and joyful days to cherish. Other clubs and association in college also arrange such fests at different time of year.

SC, ST students get huge waive off's in fees. I have no clue about loan facilities and never inquired about it.

This deemed university has everything. National level medalist sportsperson takes admission in this college through sports quota. It has huge cricket, football and athletic grounds. In hostel, you will get table tennis, carom, magazines and all the basic amenities.

Semesters are short and sometimes you have to appear in three exams in a day. Students don't get much preparation time in between the exams. Exams are continuous and divided into three parts. Here, 30 marks are for assignments which students need to submit during the semester and 30 marks are for Two sessional exams which happens twice in a sem. Final examination held which weighs balance 40 marks.

I got admission through counselling declared by the college. However, one need to fill prospectus and admission form in advance whose detail in mentioned on college's website. Normally, counselling takes place in the month of July and course commends in August.

All the professors and lecturers are well qualified as this is a government college. Thus, solid qualification is required to get into it. Studies are not less than IIT level and teachers are well cooperative and teaching method is also good. They also give you personal interaction in free time.
