Remarks

The admission process was smooth, you apply for colleges for which you meet the cut-offs. Then you receive mail from the respective colleges if you meet the eligibility criteria. Then you make the payment and your application would be confirmed. I applied for Kirori Mal college as well as Ramjas. I opted for Kirori Mal because some of my seniors advised me that it is better for Science courses. The college cut-offs ranged from 95-98. Anyone who has passed their 12th standard is eligible for applying.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose B.Sc. (H) Botany because I am very interested in plant sciences and wanted to learn more about the same. The faculty members of the college are highly qualified and well-educated. They are very experienced professors who have good control over their subjects. Though it is online mode right now, the professors are putting all their efforts to make it more interactive and fruitful sessions with presentations and videos. The exams were moderate, it was also in OBE mode this time due to the covid pandemic.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The placement cell of our college also brings in loads of internships for the student body. The process is simplified where they bring everything to you on a timely basis and you just need to apply for them, the rest of everything is notified to you in time. Some internships are paid while some may be unpaid, but nonetheless, every internship you do makes you acquainted with the corporate world and your interests. you learn a lot and gain hands-on experience which will definitely help you in your future.

Placement Experience

4.5

Yes, there are placements provided by our college. I think from the 5th or 6th-semester students are eligible for the campus placements. It facilitates the entire process of collecting and reviewing the CVs of the students, from organizing PPO by companies & start-ups to the final induction.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are normal, there is no major issue. It ranges from around 14-15k per year. I am not aware of any scholarships as I did not avail of any of that sort. But I think there is Financial assistance provided.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest of Kirori MAl College is Renaissance. Since I have not visited the college yet due to the pandemic I don't have much idea about it. But it is an impressive fest with lots of colleges coming and participating. The ECA is great and the diverse societies of the college let you explore your true self. Societies have made it better for people to attend college virtually. There are lots of societies like- Debsoc, Dramsoc, placement cell, ECOSOC, comsoc, music, and dance societies as well.

Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.
