Remarks
The admission was done on a merit basis. The cut-off for students falling under the general category was pretty high. This was done to ensure that the deserving one's get into the college. I got into the college through the OBC quota and my name was selected in the first list itself. The minimum marks for the ones who got into the college without reservation was around 95%. The admission criteria were well managed ensuring the high-quality education that the students will be eligible to obtain.
Course Curriculum Overview
I want to be a writer someday soon and this was the best possible course to enrich my qualities and avail my goal. The faculty student ratio is approx 1:60. The teachers are very friendly and are ever ready to clarify the query of the students. The faculty is well qualified and most of the professors have doctorate in their respective fields along with highly efficient communication skills. However, the term exams are conducted within a gap of 4-5 months and a mid semester exam is conducted before every term examination. The course tests the students ability to understand and interpret and hence a student's attentiveness and present mindedness decide whether he/she will pass the examination or not.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite affordable as one has to pay 8100 for a quarter and additional fees is only included at the beginning of a new year. However, scholarships are made available for the students who are in need of it.
Campus Life
The books and study materials are made available to the students by the faculty members. In this era of online classes, the college ensures that each and every student has access to the e-library. The social life at the college is pretty admirable. The college organizes regular events which help the students to come out of their comfort zones and participate in events to enrich their qualities even more.
