I was admitted into this college in the Computer Science and Engineering Department with a general merit rank of 8227 in wbjee exam. I belong to obc-b category but I was admitted by the general category. I chose this college because of its good placement. Especially cse and tt department carries good placement record.

The faculty members of this college are very friendly. They are very hardworking and very kindhearted. And the student ratio of our college is 10:1. I chose the CSE department in this college because of the faculty members. They are very helpful. If you read properly in your entire semester you never hesitate to appear in the semester examination.

As I am a 1st-year student I don't know about placement in our college. But I have heard from seniors that placement for the CSE department is pretty good.60-65% students placed every year from CSE and 95% student from tt placed every year.

The fees for the CSE department in our college are 13000/yr and for tt, ee, me it is 6,500/yr. If you are admitted through the tfw section then you do have not to pay much more. Besides this, you can get a scholarship easily. Now for hostel fees, the rent for a student is Rs50/month and electricity is Rs30/month. The hostel can accommodate 100 students, There are no hostel facilities for girls.

The campus of our college building is pretty good. The buildings are newly made. There is a library and all books regarding engineering is present there. The infrastructure is very good. There is a large auditorium which is one of the beautiful places on campus. There are several clubs in our college like the coding club, music club, dancing club, gaming club, etc. In our college, several fests are arranged every year and students can participate in this fest. Alfresco, the techno-cultural fest is held every year. Besides this Saraswati puja is the main attraction of our college.
