Remarks

Firstly I have to clear the WBJEE exam. after qualifying for the exam I participate in WBJEE counseling, through the counseling I am selected for Netaji Subhash Engineering College. After getting My seat allotment letter from WBJEE counseling for the above college I got admission to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college offers almost all types of BTech degree programs. In our college, the core braches curriculum is not so good as compared to the CSE, IT, ECE.now the come to point of faculty members. There are five teachers in math, four teachers in physics, and at least three teachers are provided for each of the subjects. I want to mention a name and that is Krisnendu Bhatcharya(K.B). He is the teacher of Physics. Just one to say one thing about him is only K.B sir thinks about students

According to my knowledge students from 3rd are eligible for campus placement. There are too many companies are visited our college for campus placements. like Byjus, TCS, Wipro, etc.TCS is the major recruiter. some of our seniors getting placed in top MNC. One of our senior batch 21 got placed in Microsoft with package 42lpa through off-campus placement. one another senior of use 21 batch Sunita Sen got placed in Amazon with package 32lpa.she also got placed in Amazon through Wb pole campusing. you can contact both of them on LinkedIn

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for BTECH computer science and engineering is about 98k/year.and also a placement fund that is near about 35k which you have to give at the time of admission. Now about scholarships.There are not any scholarships provided from college, but if you are a WB student you can get60k/year from wb government.

Campus Life

There are too many clubs in our college like PHONEIX, ROTARACT, etc. You can join every club for your personal growth. And we also have a library. but there are not such recent books available in this library. here is a website of phoenix.

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is good.I would consider the college as very clean.
The campus life is pretty good but there are strict instructions to freshers to not roam in the campus.

Dislikes

I disliked the condition of the bathroom and the corridor on the first day.
My hostel room was very filthy.The workers charges ₹100 for cleaning it

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Likes

One of the best things about my college is all the classrooms and labs are fully air conditioned. The classrooms, labs and even the toilets are cleaned regularly, which really helps to create a comfortable learning environment.
All the clubs of the college remain active all the time no matter whether it's technical clubs or fest related clubs like fun events domain, etc.
The most important thing is that the college is entirely ragging -free. College also maintains a healthy girls to boys ratio.

Dislikes

The classrooms are quite compact compared to the number of students in each class . At times it feels overcrowded and a bit uncomfortable during lectures.
Some of the faculty members are relatively inexperienced. It often feels like they don't have full command over the subject they're teaching, which can affect the overall understanding of important concepts.
Another issue I've noticed is the irregularity in certain subject classes. Not all subjects are taught consistently every semester , and there are high chances of some classes getting missed or not scheduled properly.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to sit for placements form 7 th semester that is from the beginning of final year. Usually the service based companies come here with cgpa criteria and offer jobs to students.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

The college campus is very big and beautiful.
The cultural fests and annual fest is also great.
The ganga ghat is really close from the college.

Dislikes

The faculty is bullshit .some profs are ok,but some are horrible.
The college hostels accommodation is really bad
The ratio of girls to boys is very poor.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is okay and companies like google, Microsoft, Capgemini ,Tata,Mahindra also comes during placement.The off campus placement record is also fantastic.The were scenarios in the past years where few students got packages like 50-70 lpa.

I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
