Remarks

I have applied to several more colleges for admission as I was not sure I will get a seat in this college. But fortunately, I got a chance in the college in my preferred branch. It is near my home, so I opted for the college. The college provides a quota for admission in wbjee. The admission is through WBJEE counselling. Through lateral entry is available also.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers and faculties are very helpful. I choose the course as I have a passion for engineering and computer is also my favourite attraction of all time. Nowadays everything is automated, I love to explore this field. Student ratio and faculty members are quite good. All the teachers are well qualified and do not doubt their teaching techniques. They are quite helpful.

Placement Experience

Camus placements are decent good. Students prepare for the job after 3rd year. Many companies like Infosys, TCS, some startups visit colleges every year. 2/3rd of the students placed, and they are doing high paying jobs in the companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very low in this college. For a year they took only 13000 rs only. For other branches, it is even less. The government provide many scholarships to help needy students like SVMCM, Oasis, Minority scholarship etc.

Campus Life

Alfresco is the main fest organized by the senior students of the college. Apart from that many hackathons, Tech fest happens. There is a big library in the college and it contains many scientific and technical journals. Tech Club, Photography club is available.

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190
