IGDTUW-amazing campus life with great placement sessions

The admission process started via the JAC portal by registering ourselves to the eligible colleges for example IGDTUW, DTU, IIITD, and NSIT. After this, it was required to select the different courses from each college and rank them according to our preference of choice. Then the counseling rounds started in which cut-off marks were given according to that if you get selected to any particular college course and you intend to join that college we need to go for that particular counseling and get ourselves enrolled for the same. Otherwise, if you don't get selected for the college you intend to get enrolled into then you need to wait for the next round and so on till last 5th round. On the day of counseling, we were called to reach the college and provide the required documents and finalize or lockout seats in the college course.

The course was very well managed and set according to the needs of every semester and how much a student can grad onto while growing and learning every year. I selected electronics and communication engineering as my area of interest was hardware instead of software or coding. Faculties are knowledgeable and have a firm grip on their field. They all guided us through all our issues related to work, study, projects, etc in a very great manner. The exams were taken timely with 2 minor exams of 30 marks each and 1 major end semester exam of 60 marks. The practicals were too taken on time comprising of internals and externals.

Different internships are offered from our college and students can enroll in them and there is also an option to apply for internships off-campus which most students opt for and there is no hard and fast rule that each and everyone needs to apply for college internships only.

The placement session of our college starts in July month after the completion of the 3rd year. Many different companies visit our college first because of the edge of being an all-girls college and companies want to hire more and more female candidates. I got an on-campus offer from Collegedunia.com for the position of Business development manager.

The fees of my course were 75,000 per year which is a cost-effective and affordable amount and within this, all the lab, library, food and other expenses were taken into consideration. There were different scholarship schemes for students of lower status or having financial issues in their families.

Campus life was just an amazing experience. We had different fests annually in the months of October and Jan-Feb. Our tech fest-INNERVE was conducted in the month of October and our cultural fest was conducted in the month of Jan-Feb. I was the core member of my cultural fest and that was the best experience of my college life. We had our sports fest conducted in the month of March and I was one of the core members of the first-ever sports fest of IGDTUW in the year 2019. The classrooms are well managed and well structured and there is a very great washroom and drinking water cooler facility in every block of the college.
