Remarks

I appeared for the WBJEE exam and with the marks of wbjee I registered for counselling. This counselling is organised for getting admission in all the private and government colleges of West Bengal. 50+ marks are considered good enough to get a good private college. After getting a seat through counselling we need to pay a fixed amount which is 40000 to confirm our allotted seat. After confirming the seat we have to pay the remaining semester fee to complete the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because this course has more job scope and more importantly I like computer related course so this fits perfectly. Faculty student ratio in our college is, to be honest, it's a little low than other colleges but all the faculty members here are quite knowledgeable and friendly. Term exams are taken according to the schedule issued by MAKAUT University. Since I am from the lockdown batch so haven't yet appeared for any offline exams till now we have just been given online exams which were comparably quite easy. But I've heard offline exams are quite hard so getting 7+cgpa will be definitely considered as good.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of my college are 3,93,000 for 4 years excluding hostel charges actually there is no hostel in our college. I haven't heard about scholarships since the admission is taken on the basis of WBJEE ranks or JEEMAIN ranks.

Campus Life

This question makes me sad since I haven't been to college yet actully I haven't seen how the college looks in real since I took admission last year during lockdown and till now colleges are operating in online mode. I have heard the college building is quite big and well maintained but it doesn't have any personal ground or much open space. There are lot of social groups, clubs organized by seniors of our college like Lensified which is as the name suggests is a group regarding photos where we can learn some photography tips and can see some really good photos. Another group which I would like to mention here is PHOENIX which is a multipurpose group which organizes a lot of events like dance, music, debate, quizes and other interesting things.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
