Remarks

I first got admission to Kalindi college but then in 7th list, I got Maitreyi college and I cancelled my admission in Kalindi because Maitreyi is on the south campus and had a good teaching facility also. my admission was the basis of my 12th class marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose life science because it has a variety of subjects and I can do my pg in various fields. The teaching facility is very a good many good teachers are ready to solve our queries. Most of the professors have done PhD and are excellent in their field. There are 6 semesters in total and there is an exam every semester.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Internships Opportunities

TCR Innovation is one such company I know which provide stipend internship. They hire hr, sales executive, graphic designer, etc. There are many ngo or foundations which provide internships. I had a good experience and got to learn many things.

Placement Experience

All years students are eligible for almost every internship mainly non stipend. the average package is 5-6 lakhs per annum. I want to do MSc in the forensic field. The minimum cgpa required is 6 for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are amazingly low with 7000-9000 per annum. I have done many internships both with or without stipend but mostly internships and jobs are in commerce and arts fields. there are very few internship opportunities for science field students.

Campus Life

Rhapsody is our annual fest and held in Feb- march month of 2 days. The student council is responsible for conducting the fest. There are many books and journals in the library which are good for reference. there are many societies run by students like Filmesque, Vista, Nityakriti, Galore, and have NCC, NSS society also.

Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

I chose this college because it was an all-girls college. I wanted to go to Miranda, but the cutoff there was too high, and I couldn't make it. The admission process was simple. I have applied to aryabhatta College before Maitreyi College for Women. So comparison to this college Maitreyi colleges stands out on various aspects:- Before 2024 the admission process is entirely dependent on merit list and the cutoffs. But from 2024 the admission process changed and now Cuet Exam is mandatory. A valid score of cuet and 12 th class is required.
