Remarks

Admission process- GDPI starts in Feb till march. Results in May. Good aspects- Brand name, good placements, campus, top 10 bschools, societies and club activities, good crowdBad aspects- less research focussed

Course Curriculum Overview

All PHD faculties with good education background. Students to teacher ratio is well maintained and faculties take out time for clarifying concepts. Teaching methods could use updation especially for some faculties. Exams are preplanned and goes as per the schedule.

Internships Opportunities

Yes good opportunities for internships with major firms coming for recruitment. The placement report shows all the good companies that come to campus. Internship experience is good too but varies from companies to companies.

Placement Experience

100% summers and final placements from campus. All summer internships from campus are with stipend. People look for outside opportunities too. Students get good live projects through various channels too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is on a higher side when compared to other colleges. Not many scholarship opportunities and even those which are, are very less compared to overall fees. Fee has been unchanged for last 3 years. Paid summer Internship for all students in my course. Hostel meals are included in the fees and mess is pretty decent.

Campus Life

Imperium is the annual fest. The campus is very lively with activities across the year. One of the best things about campus. Sports week (KOK) is conducted annually. The campus has sports facilities for many sports. But could pave way for swimming and golf too. Classrooms are modern with all modern facilities. Samaritans is the social initiatives club of MDI

Hostel Facilities

Hostel for first year isn't very good. There are common washrooms and some rooms are quite damp. Second year hostels are way much better and you can use your own induction, coffee makers in the room too. All people live together with rooms quite near to each other so that creates good bond. Boys are not allowed in girls hostel and girls are allowed in boys hostel till 11 PM only

Best effective college ever for management and commerce

Placement of our college is is 100% there guaranting a placement as we have a job we have a internships midden term ship opportunities and many more so I feel that is nothing lacking between the placement part if you will be regular to the mentals are so you for sure get the internship so I also got my internship in first year and which was of 6 lakh CTC something so I feel that was best for 1st year students so I feel that providing 100% placement and also a good and all that

Best college for MBA in Gurgaon (Delhi NCR).

Placement Experience:

Almost 650% of students land a PPO with the companies they intern at. For the others, the Placement Cell does an amazing job of lining up companies for campus recruitment. The highest package recorded has been 16 LPA with an average revolving around around 6 LPA. I think it's reliable placement scenario and we are given enough training to do our best in the interviews.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards students become eligible for college placement process and various companies visit the campus for process for internships or full time recruitment role. Around 200 companies have visited the campus in this placement season and many more are expected to visiti till April end month. Highest package was offered by Meesho which was 28LPA and other big tech companies like Amazon and Microsoft offer around 45LPA. Roles were SDE and AI ML engineer. Around 85% students have been placed in some branches and highest placement was recorded in CS branch I plan to get placement after the degree and normal corporate job.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students still for placements. Almost all major recruiters visit our campus like amazon, google, meesho, flipkart, JP Morgan , de shaw, wells Fargo, accenture, ibm, hsbc, nab, ey, amdocs, United airlines, sap labs, icici bank, tata , samsung, infosys, etc. almost 80-85% batch got placed in 2025 with avg. Package of 13-14 lpa. Highest package was 60-65 lpa approx. I want to pursue software job after my btech.

Almost 90 percent of the companies start taking placement colleges from the 7th semester onwards or till the end of the 8th semester in which all the students are placed. And if any student still remains, he applies for off-campus placement, then he also gets placed easily.

Since my CAT percentile was quite less, 96, and being from a top NIT, I wanted to get into a B-School which could complement my NIT tag, while my fream was a tier - 1 college, my percentile shut all doors. I chose MDI Gurgaon over XLRI Delhi, IIM Shillong, new and baby IIMS, NITIE - PGDSM. The reason for choosing MDI was its proximity to my hometown, Tier 1 status. I was rejected from IIM ABCLKI and FMS - Delhi mostly on the basis of my undergrad scores and a CAT percentile which was not high enough. Internship in ABG !!

You need to appear in the CAT exam. Any percentile over 90%ile with a sectional of 70 70 70 cleared will fetch you a call from MDI Gurgaon. However, to convert core, 96+ is a safe score for non-engg and 98.5+ for GEM. After you get a shortlist, you'll have to appear and fill out a form which MDI-G will send and you can edit your details there. Further, you'll get a PI date.
