Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is relevant and well structured, covering key legal subjects alongwith practical exposure through various workshops, seminars, competitions, internships, moot court, legal aid etc. The course helps develop research, drafting and advocacy skills. Exams consist of mid term and end term examination, with a moderate difficulty level.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are available for the students in the final year, and the university provides support through internships, training sessions, and placement drives. Various companies, law firms and corporate organisations visit the campus for recruitment. The average package is moderate depends on the student's skills, academic performance , and internship experience. My plan after completing the LL.B course is to pursue an LL.M. to specialise in my area of interest and further strengthen my legal knowledge and career prospects.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee for the LL.B programme at K. R. Mangalam University is approx ₹1.75 lakh per year, making the total course fee around ₹5.25 lakh for 3 years. Additional charges such as registration, examination, security, and other academic fees may apply. Campus Life
Campus life is great with various clubs, cultural events, sports activities and academic competitions. The library has a good collection of books, legal journals, manual, whole classrooms are equipped with modern learning facilities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are goods as they provide essential items like bed, mattress, study table, lights, chair, attached washroom, Balcony and yes it provide Centralised Air conditioners etc. Hostel provide 4 meals in a day which is pretty good actually. Those students who are hostellers, college provides them free accommodation.
Admission
I chose K. R. Mangalam University because of it's modern infrastructure, supportive faculty, practical legal exposure and it's location in Gurugram, which provides better internship opportunities. The admission process was smooth and based on eligibility criteria and academic performance.
Faculty
The faculty of school of legal studies, K. R. Mangalam University are supportive, knowledgeable, and approachable, maintaining a good Teacher- Student relationship. Professors regularly guide students in academics, research, internships, activities, competitions. The course curriculum is relevant and combines theoretical knowledge with practical exposure. The examination system consists I'd mid term examinations along with assessment, assignment, presentation etc and end semester examination. The difficulty level is moderate, and students who attend classes regularly and prepare consistently generally clear exams without any difficulty. Overall the academic environment is positive and conductive to professional growth.
Night Life
Campus life is enjoyable, with students often spending time in the cafeteria, library, sports area and common room (different for males and females) after classes. Hostel life is vibrant , with movie nights, games night, festival celebrations , cultural events and group activities that help students bond and relax.
