Remarks

Colleges applied - VJTI Minimum marks - 176 No minimum age Smooth process. I had to go to the college thrice for the entire process The counselling day was really helpful. We were given a very good overview of the college, the clubs and fests.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took computer engineering since I was interested in it and I easily got admission in the stream. Faculty to student ratio is about 1:50. Most of the teachers are very well qualified with some of them having a PhD in their fields. Term exams were always according to the schedule, with a maximum delay of 1 week. Passing is easy with relative grading.

Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Citi, Barclays, jp Morgan - analyst roles. Company specific projects. Placements and internships are good with great offers from great companies. Most companies consider their interns for full time offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were increased by about 5000 and it's much cheaper than other colleges. The fees here are almost half of the private colleges I got a summer internship at Morgan Stanley. The placements are good. My seniors are placed in great companies with really good offers.

Campus Life

Technovanza, Pratibimb and Enthusia in December. The library has almost all the books of every stream. Classrooms have projectors that facilitate learning. Gymkhana, cricket and football grounds. Community of coders, VJTI racing, Aero VJTI.

“Golden Days of PICT College Life”

Course Curriculum Overview:

Electronics and telecommunication engineering is best branch. And there is also best teaching of hardware as well as software and also in which attendance is mandatory. They shows how to use the academics with real world applications. By taking hardware practicals. I think no need of improvement but i gives improvement in attendance. Please don't take attendance mandatory.

Not a dream college but a best college that is unexpected

Placement Experience:

There are total 8 semister for college placement from 8 semester students become eligible for campus placements The company that visit my college are TCS , ZEPTO etc The average package of my college is 5 lacs and the highest package is upto 13 lacs in future it has more chances to grow up The placement are dependent of the companies that visit with their criteria. My plan is to improve my skills and to place in a good company with a good package.

SPIT- The most amazing 4 years of your life!

Placement Experience:

After semester 6 students are eligible for campus placements. Some of the top companies visited are phonepay, Morgan Stanley, JPMorganchase, Deutsche Bank, cashrich , nomura . The highest package offered is 35 lakhs and average package is 14 lakhs. Till now the placement percentage is 100 percent. My plan is to appear for placements after 6th sem.

My College Life Experience

I Actually don't applied for any other college my preference from first was VJTI only however I do add SPIT on my 2nd preference I don't get rejected I just choose VJTI because it has a great background than any other college also it's location is quite good to get admission students must give an exam name mht cet which is Maharashtra state common entrance test through which they get admission in my course and many other once result is out the admission has to be done through cap round cutoff for my course is between 95-99%+ile depends on various factors like reservation and etc etc overall admission process takes some days but it is worthy...Read More

Detailed and Honest Review of VJTI - One of The Oldest Engineering Colleges in India.

Talking about other colleges I applied for, I registered for JOSAA and CSAB both. Through JOSAA I got the IIT Dharwad, since I got the BS plus MS programm there I regestered for CSAB, through CSAB I secured seat into iiit Bhopal cse. Because it is a newly established iiit, it does have poor facilities. Then through CAP counselling I got seat at VJTI. Then Ieft iiit Bhopal and joined VJTI. Today I think that, the decision taken by me was absolutely right. Apart from this I also applied for IIST Thiruvananthpuram but due to my 12th board score I could not make it. As IIST has a criteria that student should secure minimum 75% in board exams. IIST does not have 20%ile criteria where all iits,nits and gftis has....Read More

To do engineering in Maharashtra, MH-CET is compulsory and every student here has come that way. Rank of 3000-4500 is enough for general category students to secure admission in VJTI's E&TC branch.
