I undertook the Kerala Entrance examination back in 2008 and secured a rank of 5500 to gain admission to this college.

MBCET provides the best infrastructure, facilities, faculties and is run by very experienced management. The course curriculum followed is same as the rest of the technical colleges in Kerala as all the technical colleges comes under the Technical University.

I am not aware of any internship or stipend provided by our college.

Around 80% of the students who passed all the exams till the 3rd year or had only 2 back papers got placed in our batch. From the rest 20%, they were not placed because they did not attend the placements as they aspired for Management courses or higher studies like M.Tech.

Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology holds the great technical and cultural festival "CROSSROADS". This was first started in the academic year 2010-11. It was a great success and colleges from all over Kerala registered for the cultural and technical fest that lasts for 3 days.

There are no loan facilities available in this college that I am aware of. Please contact the management directly for such queries.

Boys and girls have equal opportunity here and maintain good relationship. All kinds of workshops, technical programs, cultural activities are supported by the management and students also tend to show active interest in such activities. There is no politics in this college and there is no need for one. Any political activities, strikes, ragging is strictly dealt with by the efficient management.

There is a very good hostel facility for this college. Both boys and girls have separate and very good accommodation provided and the food is also nice. The bathroom is clean and rooms are also very spacious. The rooms are of sharing basis and around 3-4 mates share the room in the hostel. The bathroom are also in a sharing basis.

Exam structure has changed now from what was back in 2008. It was hectic at that time but now things have changed and students have less frequent examinations and also get to have vacations after each semester. Back in 2008, there were no vacations and there were lot of examinations to be written.

I joined the college in merit seat after getting a rank of around 5000 in Kerala Entrance exam. But this was back in 2008 when the college was just gaining momentum as we were only the 3rd batch that joined. Now the college has great reputation and demand and so it might be difficult to get into this college.

The standard of the faculty is above average or in fact excellent. More than 75% of the staff can be rated as excellent with good communication and teaching skills and are of high intellect. The class of a few staff who does not have prior experience may be boring as they are dealing with students for the first time.
