Course Curriculum Overview

2

since college is autonomus the course is somewhat different from the affiliated university which is KTU. the 1st semester exam was completed within 4 months the college started that is 3 months of class. the teachers teaches most of the things required for exams , rest are given as seminar or self study or assignments. the college keeps 1 sem exam along with the series exam which is called CAT exam, i.e in my 1st semester Basics of electronics and communication(BEC) semester exam was kept just after the 1st CAT that is not with all the other exams. the BEC exam was kept somewhere in october or november and the rest exams on january.

Internships Opportunities

3

i am in 1st year and as far as i know the college has internship oppurtunities. i dont have much details about it but i heard some sseniors have got internship. it is beter the ask a senior about this to get ore information

Placement Experience

3

as far as i know seniors are getting placed , i dont know exactly but i guess cse and ece have placements. i dont know about other department. in the college website the list is given in department wise of the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 1L per year approx and 1st year it may go upto 1.3L. There is fee concession for 4 or 5 people per class. for else no matter wwhat you have same fees let it be reservaation, merit, management.

Campus Life

1

campus is basically like a school, very strict. once we enter the college we cannot go out till college ends ,not even in lunch break i guess. in emergency or any reason to go out we have to take 2 slips get it signed from various teachers, calling home and making enquiries then only going out is allowed. fests are very less , as far as i know there is only 1 fest that is crossroads which is a decent fest as far as i heard as they got darshan raval to perform last time

Hostel Facilities

1

hostel is available for all students i guess nobody have been denied hostel as far as i know, the hostel fee for 1st year is around 74000 i guess. we get to choose betwwen 3 sharing and 2 sharing in 1st year and afterwards we can opt for single room also but fee ma vary.hostel food is not too bad. we getfood 4 time breakfast, lunch , evening snacks tea and dinner. non veg and veg options available. friday only veg. boys hostel i just behind the college campus. for 1st years it is just a 1 or 2 min walk to their repsective block. hostel rules are mentioned in the previous question you can read from it.

Admission

i tried to get into govt colleges but with my keam rank i couldnt get into any govt colleges in CSE or ECE . so i came here. this college offers half seat based on keam and rest half on management seats.

Faculty

4

for every student there is a advisor whom we can ask anything related to our college things, sometimes they might be our teacher. the faculty are preety good and qualified. it depends to us weather we understand from them, since the college is autonomus studies are taken seriusly and teachers put in effort to get us good result.

Night Life

1

night life??? this thing doesnt exist in college campus. campus gets clossed after a particular time. hostel also gets closed after 6.30 which is worse as we cant hangout outside hostel. even inside hostel there is restriction. the director of the college is our warden(boys hostel). we have various restrictions, we cannot go to other peoples room after 6.30 we get kicked out . we cannot bring outside food to hostel, we cannot even study after 11.30. the warden makes us turn off light and sleep. we cant even watch a football match in our rooms, once i was watching a football match the security came in and told me to tutn it off and study or go to sleep. so basically we can call it a prison. the food aint that good .

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably
