Remarks

It was really a fantastic three year experience to be a part of SRCC which made me move zero to one.

Entrance Preview

No entrance exams. It was based on the class twelfth examination wherein I was lucky enough to score as much to get into SRCC.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I have pursued Bachelor in Commerce Honors from Shri Ram College of commerce, Delhi University. The course curriculum is really upto the mark. It teaches you in detail about every ABC thing involved in management of financials, economics, business, entrepreneurship, human resource etc.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, SRCC do help in fetching internship with renowned companies. There are many on and off campus drives conducted to facilitate students in getting internships with an average stipend of 10k.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is a huge pool of placements and job opportunities available during the final year of the course with more than 100 companies visiting your campus to hire you for different roles in marketing, finance, human resource, sales, operations as executives, associates and managers.

College Events

5

With more than 50 societies in the college, the entire year was occupied with different cultural fests of these societies. I was actively involved in the commerce and the Student's Union to organise the annual cultural festival Bizstreet of commerce society and Crossroads and Business Conclave of Student's Union.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Although the fee was on a higher note as compared to other colleges in Delhi University, but if compared against the various benefits Shri Ram college has it is very nominal. The yearly average fee is INR 30,000/- inclusive of everything. Thus, it is really very much feasible and affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are hundreds of scholarships available in the college. I had availed a few during my tenure in college. Some of the scholarships includes the following: EY Scholar of the year, KPMG sponsored Scholarship.

Campus Life

4

The life in Shri Ram College of Commerce is really a big one and helps in transforming you from zero to one. It teaches you that knowledge is not the only thing required to be successful in life. The pool of various non- studious activities teaches you millions of things from management to organising.

Alumni/Alumna

Shri Ram college of Commerce has a huge pool of contacts in terms of the alum network. Renowned personalities like current Finance minister Arun Jaitly is in the alum network. We get to hear such people many a times during the college days.

Exam Structure

I had semester exams twice an year. During the semester we used to have these internals and assignment work which kept us going to prepare for the final exam. The final or the semester exams were made taking into consideration students all around the university so that it's not unjust for them.

Admission

I got Ninety Seven percentile in class twelfth examination. After which I filed in the DU admission form. The cut offs came and I got admitted in SRCC. The cut offs were ninety six point five and I had a score of ninety seven. The admission process was a smooth one, I went to the college, filled in the required details, deposited first semester fee and it was done.

Faculty

5

Being in Shri Ram college of commerce, I was taught by all the renowned teachers whose books have been followed through out the country. The faculty was the best among the country and taught even the smallest thing in detail. The phrase for higher level was no more into existence after coming here.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high compared to North Campus colleges.Students usually become eligible for placements in the final year with decent cgpa and good skills. Some companies visit the campus for roles in sales, marketing, finance and HR. The average package is moderate and only a limited percentage of students get placed through campus. Many students prefer internships during college to gain experience and earn extra money. Some also plan for higher studies like MBA or prepare for competitive exams which I also do I personally plan to gain work experience first, earn some money and then go for higher studies. Overall, placements are average but hopefully they will increase in future.

Placements are quite well . Most of the students are placed with the average package of 4-5 LPA . Companies like KPMG , Deloitte, Pwc and many more come to college and offer students. And with the time the placement cell of the college also conduct an event regarding placement and intership which approaches around 200-250 companies to come and give an opportunity to our students.

The highest package of my college is 36 lakh per annum from bcom H programme. The placement is very nice from my collegem the average package is 6.7 lakh per annum and the median package is around 8 lakh per annum which is very good in my views. But if the students is not focusing in his academic then no college can give him placement, it's just a exception. The students become elegible for placements after 2nd year and before 3rd year basically they just got PPO that is preplacement offer. Bain & co. , de shaw , Accenture , oyo, Swiggy. I have a plan of Doing MBA after doing Bcom H form hansraj college
