Red bricks reminding memories

The admission process was a little hectic for me, i got lost and couldn't find the room where i had to go to verify my mark sheets but there were some seniors who helped me out. I opted for Bcom honors and luckily i had maths in 12th so i easily got admission. Maths is compulsory to be in 12th to opt BCom or economics honors. The cut-off was 97% and my best four subject's percentage was 97.5. The admission in charge verified my mark sheets, was given a form to fill and to select my generic paper. After that, i got a mail to pay the fee of one year. And my admission got confirmed.

Doing MBA and getting a good placement was my goal so I chose Bcom honors. Faculty: student ratio is 1:50.The teachers are highly qualified, experienced, knowledgeable. They'll teach you to see the way others cannot. They are really efficient in handling no. Of things at the same time. Exams were taken four times in a year, two-semester one and two mid-semester.

Being a commerce student, I have done a number of internship. It includes internship with ADORE, unschool, the education tree, younity. I have done internship with one NGO also, the All India Confederation of the Blind organisation, they work for the Blind students. Interns are supposed to write content, handle the social media account. Sometimes they are paid, sometimes unpaid. But the certificates provided will surely gonna help in future.

Students become eligible for placement from 5th smester. Anyone with good academic records can sit for the placement. The companies recruits employees through interview. The top recruiting companies are EY, KPMG, Delloite PwC. And the best roles offered are in the field of finance management and consulting. The highest salary package usually offered is 30-32 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3-3.5 LPA. Around 65% of students get placement last year. Srcc provides limited courses, only in the field of commerce so placement rate is really high.

The fee for my course was 10,000 per year including examination fee and other The fee was less in comparison to colleges like Hansraj, KMC, Hindu. So I didn't find any fee hike. There is no such scholarship provision, but the college provides some concessions for the underprivileged students including the PWD. The PWD students have to pay around 100-500 per year. They receive a scholarship from the government. There are some private scholarships for girls and EWS students.

Srcc is one of those colleges built with red bricks. Looks very beautiful from the outside. It has a small lawn and a big canteen, a well-maintained library and well-equipped classrooms. The campus is fully air-conditioned, which is a necessity in Delhi's summer. The campus has WiFi-facility as well. Crossroads is the Annual Cultural College Fest. The students union of srcc is really brilliant because they organize the best fest of Delhi University. DJ chetas was the incharge of DJ night. The concert was handled by guru Randhawa, it felt so good to see him. It happened last in 2019, march lasts for three days. After that, things are going online. These three days are the best day of one's college life. There is fun, food, games, cash prizes.
