Remarks

Main 3 subject marks+1 language were taken for our percentage. On the basis of the merit list, the selections were done. 1st,2nd lists were for the general category rest remain closed due to high merit. Documents like 10th mark sheet for d.o.b is important, then 12th mark sheet, diploma, transfer certificate, character certificate, bank details are needed and if not available we can show only 10th mark sheet and mark sheet of 12th from internet and can give the original after admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was very much interested in pursuing history because from childhood I liked history the most about its facts, what happened in the past, what lessons we learned from them. The faculty is good, they provide enough material for reading to us and students are 67 in my course. There are 25 marks for internal exams which include tests and assignments and the rest 75 marks are for external examination. the exams were not tough, we have to focus on the previous year's question papers also.

Internships Opportunities

There are not specific companion which provides internships as there are many from which some are from m outside our country. They firstly provide internships than if we'll be qualified than we have to give some kind of interviews and packages start from around 40,000-50,000

Placement Experience

The placements are quite good we call to apply for them in 3rd means last year. not only percentage but skills also matter. I want to do a master's in history. And side by side I also want to join some company or work from home job.

Fees and Financial Aid

For my course of history honors, the fee is around 1,5890 and those students who are not capable of paying this amount can fill the form to minimizing their fees. there is a placement cell of DRC that provides internships to students.

Campus Life

Drc is situated in North Campus where are facilities are available. We enjoy well as we met new friends from different parts of our country and there are many fests and program also in the college itself.

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

Insights into DRC

After appearing for CUET UG, we make preferences of the desired college and on the basis on the CUET score, colleges are alloted. The admission process was so long and time taking.There is entrance exam that is CUET for admission in delhi University.The admission will be on the basis of cut off.
