IIT JEE, UPESAT, BITSAT. I secures 6242 All India Rank in UPESEAT. I opted for this particular college because of good infrastructure,good placement records and best faculties and specialisations in streams. I want to become a good computer software engineer. After the result of the test,students had to go to Delhi to opt for stream of their choice.

The course was started in the first week of August. The teachers were very helpful and started their course from the first day. After the first month a Common Class Test was organised for all the students of each and every branch to test the knowledge of what have the students learnt till date. It was also important as its 5 % will add in the final pointer/grade of the semester. Then mid sem were organised next month and its 20% will add in the final,then of internal assessment 30 % will be added and of end semester 50 % will be added.

Yes, The college provide many internships national as well as international. I am a first year student but also in touch of some alumni and they describe as the best part of their life as college provide internship to more than 95% students.

This is also a gold feather in our college as a numerous companies come to the college offering high packages. UPES students are accepted well by the industry. Some of the prominent recruiters who picked students of B Tech courses were Mahindra Aerospace, Cyient, Royal Enfield, MAN Trucks, Maruti Suzuki, Global Data, KPIT, Shell India, Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited, NTT Data, Indian Navy, LG Electronics, L&T Infotech, Map my India, TATA Consultancy Services, Capgemini, Mahindra Susten, Hyundai Motors India Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., Weatherford Drilling International.The highest package was of 25 lakhs offered by the Google.

The scholarship is very less as it is given in starting to the students who have secured more than 90% in their 12th boards and after that it is given only to the college topper and only 5% cut in the tuition fees, so it is very small amount.

The college life is the golden life and in UPES, the campus life is very beautiful,everything is good as it is gender ratio,diversity or anything. The gender ratio is very good as number of boys is very similar to the number of girls,students come from every direction in India as well foreign students also come to study here. Workshops are there every week in the college with various type of discussion,there are many student chapters that organise these workshops.

I got admission in this college by an entrance test named UPESEAT. I secured 6242 rank. After the result declaration,the shortlisted students had to go to New Delhi for the branch opting. There the senior faculties had given their introduction and gave brief description about their specific branches.

The faculty is very sincere in teaching and is very polite and kind to students and are willing to teach. UPES has a numerous number of teachers with high qualification. They are strict but do not have any grudges to students and help when needed. Some teachers are rude but after some time they also become good with students.
