Remarks

That time I applied to three colleges. Curaj , regional college Ajmer , Prithviraj Chauhan college Ajmer . I got a seat in all. I take admission to Curaj because I want physics as my core subject. My program is an integrated MSc in Physics. The only college which provides me Physics as the main subject in my nearby area. I got admission in SC quota . At that time the admission criteria was 70% of CUCET + 30% of 12th . SC= 35+ in cucet and 85+ in 12th can get a seat in this program. General =45+ in cucet and 90+ 12th. Nearly for OBC. If I talk about admission process , then first of all you have to clear cucet. Then apply for admission in curaj. Select your three programs according to your preferences . U can select three preference programs like Int.MSc in Physics or in CS so on. Regularly check University website for updates of shortlist students also your mail. For counseling process submit admission fee +counseling fee (~10000). In case you not get seat, admission fee will return.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because of my love of Physics. And in my area, there is no college which provides me Physics as my main subject except curaj . In 1-4 semester 1 prof: 80 students , 5-10 semester 1prof:30 students. The minimum qualification of faculty is Masters's degree. Some of them have degrees in Indian colleges. They are highly educated. Everyone has their own style of teaching. In one semester we have 2internal exams and one end-of-semester exam(EoSE). The level is moderate, the regular study is helpful in passing exams.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Yes. University provides a lot of opportunities for internships. Paid and unpaid both. University is attached with Internshala which provides companies name or work for internship according to our preferences. Stipends are very good. So many students got internships and also getting. Currently, I also applied for internships and got shortlisted.

Placement Experience

3

Yes, there are campus placements giving. Not too much. After 3 semesters you are eligible for internships, and after 8 semesters you are eligible for placements I think. For more info regarding placements, you can visit the University website. As I am a 2-year student, I don't have enough info in the context of placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Academic Fee for one semester 4000-5500. This is not too much. Also, University provides opportunities for internships through Internshala and from other means also. It also provides placements ( not too much but yes ).

Campus Life

5

Every year there is a department fest. Mainly in Feb-march. The library is full of books (academics, biographies, and more ). Rarely we need to buy academics books. The library is good enough for academics. The classrooms are awesome. Comfortable sitting arrangements and provide good vibes for study. Also, there are so many sports practiced on the campus. Volleyball, cricket, kabaddi, football, basketball and so many. Every year there is intra sports event organized on the campus with so many sports. Want to know more about University you can check its Instagram pages run by students ( curaj host . Curajtak, etc). Campus life is awesome.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel buildings are good and adorable from the outside as well as from the inside. There are two/three seated rooms. You will be get 1bed + 1 almirah/cupboard + 1 study table +1 chairs . All rooms have a balcony. Washrooms are common (4 for 20-25 girls) .girls hostels have a mess in them and for boys, there is one mega mess. The quality and taste of food are average. The registration process for hostels and mess is done offline only. Hostel room rent (for 1 semester) = 3600/-. Mess fee (for 1 semester) = 9000/-.

Other Applied Colleges

Regional college ajmer | BSc bed

Because I also got seat in curaj . And curaj is my first preference .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I was interested in economics. There is a 1:30 ratio of students to teachers. The teachers are highly qualified. The teaching methods are good. They use presentations and pdfs to teach us in class. The term exams are conducted on time. It is moderately difficult to pass the examinations. You have to study well to pass.

Remarks:

There's an evident lack of social life around the university as it is far away from the city which can't help fulfill normal joyous outings. The college has extremely good infrastructure but lacks seriousness among current students as well as faculties. There is unnecessary restrictions put on students, especially girl students which is biased and clear form of sexism.
