Remarks

There's an evident lack of social life around the university as it is far away from the city which can't help fulfill normal joyous outings. The college has extremely good infrastructure but lacks seriousness among current students as well as faculties. There is unnecessary restrictions put on students, especially girl students which is biased and clear form of sexism.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is suggested by the UGC and is maintained as such. My opinion is that it is diverse but lacks practical applications. The exam structure consists of 2 internals and 1 end of semester exam. The internals are of 20 marks each and the end of semester exam is of 60 marks. Totalling to 100 marks out of which 35 marks is the passing criteria. The classes can leave you with a hectic day if you're in the life sciences department.

Placement Experience

2

The last 4 years I've been here there were hardly any companies interested in recruiting the students. This year things have changed a little and the placements are available but still recruiters are recruiting the cream of the crop and they don't value the students below them.

College Events

2

There are no events celebrated on occasions because the students tend to go home on the holidays and the university is empty. Other than that there are some fests organized by various departments like the chemistry department and the economics department which involve a whole lot of events to participate in. Which are genuinely enjoyable.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is very much feasible. From semester fees ranging from 3500 inr to 5000 inr Exclusive of mess fees and hostel fees per semester which costs around 10-12k combined So per semester there's a cost of 17k inr including mess food and hostel accommodation.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship for the top 3 ranked students in your merit list of your respective classes and also in the regular semester exams. The college fees is minimal and generally wouldn't require loan of any kind.

Campus Life

4

Extracurricular activities are very visibly a conscious effort by the students because no faculties and employees care about the extra curricular activities around the whole campus. There has always been an effort from the students.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel infrastructure is state of the art but it is hardly maintained. Currently as i am writing this there is a plan of a 4th boys hostel to be constructed. There are already 3 boys and 3 girls hostels

Alumni/Alumna

It totally depends on your luck. If your luck favors you, you'll have great college seniors who have a great level of understanding not only of the subject but what it means to be far away from your home if you are in you're sophomore year.

Admission

There's an all india entrance exam which has a lot of colleges to choose from and your selection during your form fill up will be the ones you'll be applying for. After the results of the written exam, you'll be subject to a counselling session which will give your possible admission in the preferred courses. Online and offline counseling could be there which will be dependent on the colleges you choose from during filling up the CUCET exam.

Faculty

3

My college faculty has 60% of novices and 40% experts. The faculty who i consider as novices have a knack of putting themselves before the students which is primitive way of teaching. They are not at all interested in teaching but rather torturing the students. The rest 40% faculties are calm, kind and will help you on call. And will not insult or demoralize you.
