20 Jun, 2025 IIRF Overall Ranking 2025 has been released for the Top Private Universities. MGUMST has been ranked 74 out of 103 in India.

14 Jun, 2025 NEET UG 2025 has successfully concluded on May 4 in 566 cities across India and abroad for admission to MBBS/ BDS/ B.Sc Nursing/ BAMS/ BUMS/ BHMS/ B.V.Sc. NEET UG 2025 Answer Key by various coaching institutes is currently available here. NTA will release the official answer keys in the fourth week of May 2025 followed by the results on the official portal @neet.nta.nic.in by June 14 (tentatively).

Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology (MGUMST) is one of the most renowned universities of medical science, which was established in 1999 by an act of the State Legislature. MGUMST Admission 2024

MGUMST Admission to UG, PG, and SS courses in medicine, such as MBBS/BDS, MD/MS, and DM/ MCh, is based on exams such as NEET UG, NEET PG, and NEET SS, respectively. For admission to other courses such as BPT, BOT, BSc, MPT, MOT, MHA, and MSc, candidates have to clear the MGUMST Entrance Examination. The scores of the NEET MDS and CSIR NET are accepted for admission to the MDS, PhD/MPhil. Students are offered admission to Post Basic BSc Nursing/BSc Nursing/MSc Nursing on the basis of the Rajasthan Nursing Entrance Exam. The university reserves 15% of MBBS/BDS seats under the All India Quota, and 85% of seats are reserved under the State Quota.

The application can be made through the online form available on the official website. Visit the official website of the MGUMST (https://www.mgumst.org/). Fill out the application form with all the required details. Submit the duly filled form along with the application fee. Once your name is shortlisted, kindly visit the college for fee submission and document verification. The application fee to enroll in a particular course is INR 1500/—, which is non-refundable.

The faculties and overall academics is Genius .
The administration is very helpful and works in an organized manner.
The classrooms are state-of-the-art in every area. All technology and seating is in place

Student view on course curriculum and faculty

The course curriculum is completely under the influence of NMC followed by the academic year calendar. The college is also regional centre for NMC, providing with the best and expert faculties in all aspects. The lecture theatres are well equipped with all new technologies and facilities, providing with the recording of each theory lecture available on social media platforms like YouTube.

Internship opportunity provided by the college

The college itself provides the internship programme for the undergraduates in it's Hospital. The programme is of one year rotatory internship programme. You have to complete your rotatory internship in provided departments of your course.

Total course fees and provided scholarship

The year wise fees was 15 lacs upto 2023 batch and is increased to 19.5 lacs for upcoming batches. This will be fees for general seat admission,the fees for management seat will be 26.75 lacs. The caution money will be 3 lacs at the time of admission only. Eligibility fees will be 7500/- The year wise scholarship also given to the meritorious students every year.

The campus life in the college is really awesome and always memorable to you. The campus has NBC(A coffe cafe), Burger farm, Cafeteria,Juice centre and many to explore. The student council of the college provides many platforms to students to enhance themselves other than the academics.

Hostel facilities provided by the college

The Hostels rooms are good at all but it can be more better than those of present time. Although it provides a two bed sharing rooms with study table furnished shelves and all. The mess food is provided by Sodexo kitchens.

The college has its own university. The university offers eight course within its different colleges in campus. It is also responsible for conducting the annual examination and declaration of result to various courses. Each course has genius and best faculties in the department. Each department is individual body working under the university offering it's knowledge and skills to the students. The course curriculum is under influence of NMC. The college is also NAAC A+ accredited and is regional centre for NMC.

I didn't applied any where else I only applied in this college and I got seat easily as my marks were good in neet No I didn't get rejection from any college Admission is through neet examination student must qualify it and have score above the cutt off is all we need

I like the most is infrastructure. Because good infrastructure helps to motivate for studies.

Dislikes

The ratio of girls are very less in my batch. There are 69 students in which only 4 are girls and remaining 65 are boys.

Admission:

I applied in VELS University in Chennai. There are many reasons I chose MGUMST over VELS: There I have language problem. Food problem. Living area or PG problem. And Chennai is far away from my home place to visit my place I need to travel for 2 days in train.

Admission:

I chose this college as it was the number 1 college in rajasthan and fees was also very affordable compared to other dental colleges.The infrastructure and facilities were also very good compared to other dental colleges. I applied in 3 colleges i.e Mahatma Gandhi Dental College, ITS Ghaziabad,Sidha Rustagi dental college and I got my admission letter from all the three . The process of admission is through Neet which is a national level eligibility exam which is given by dental graduates and on the basis of cutoff and marks your rank and eligibility is decided. Than a counselling is conducted All india Counselling and state counselling. I got Mahatma Gandhi Dental College via State counseling.

MGUMST offers admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate, and superspeciality courses in Dental, Medical, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Nursing. The examand criteria are mentioned below

Admission to MBBS/BDS and BPT/BOT/BSc in various specializations on the basis of the score in NEET UG and MGUMST Entrance Examination.
Candidates with 10+2 in PCB with at least 50% marks are eligible for admission to the UG program.
MGUMST Admission to MD/MS and MDS is based on candidates score in the NEET PG examination, followed by counselling.
The university accepts the Rajasthan Nursing Entrance Test for BSc Nursing/Post Basic BSc Nursing/MSc Nursing admission.
Students seeking admission to MPT, MOT, MHA and MSc also needs to clear entrance examination conducted by university.
Admission to DM and MCh for three years at MGUMST is based on the score in NEET SS.
Candidates must have a valid MD/ MS Degree in the relevant specialization for admission to DM/ MCh.
Admissions to PhD and MPhil at JIPMER is interview-based for CSIR NET/SLET Qualified Candidates.
For other candidates, admission to PhD and MPhil is based on the MGUMST Entrance Exam followed by an Interview.
Candidates with a valid score on the exam are eligible to appear for the counseling conducted by MCC and RUHS.
MCC conducts the counselling for All-India Quota Seats, and RUHS conducts counselling for State Quota.
