Sophia Girls’ College (SGC), Ajmer was established in 1959 and approved & recognized by UGC & NAAC. It is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University It offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate courses in the discipline of Arts, Commerce, Science, Computer Science, Management and Library and Information Science. - Teachers there are well educated and supportive in nature they listen to the problems of students and give relevant solutions.
- Placement training cell is also very good they give good and helful advice to the students to pass the PI or GD.
Dislikes
- Infrtastructe is good but it can be more beautiful if they take advice from students.
- Some students do partiality in the college liek who have batches or in hostel they get privileges first.
Admission:
Well I had applied for government college but as compared to sophia college government college does not provide proper classes or placements. Also the teachers are a but lazy in that college thats why I chose sophia over anyother college. And one more thing that sophia college is a well known college in Ajmer district.
Likes
- There are so many sports like boxing, table tennis, swimming etc
- So many clubs to join one of the being entrepreneur club
Dislikes
- Some teachers are old faculties so boring methods of teaching
- A Lil expensive canteen according to the food
Admission:
The eligibility is quite simple to just need to clear for board examination fir 50% and thats it. The application form cost 1000Rs. There are 2 exams in a year for each semester. The admission process is very simple and no extra work.

- The ambience of the college including closeness to nature and taking utmost care of the environment
- Teaching methods: special teaching methods were used and special care was taken for students who didn't cope well with their studies
Dislikes
- Library: The library was not at all updated as lot of old book piles were kept
- Canteen area wasn't kept well for many years as well
Admission:
Minimum eligibility was 12th percentage (agg 50%) and for Christian quota minority card Everything was mentioned on the site including registration date and end date etc Site management could be improved in some areas
Likes
- Sophia provides a great exposure to opportunities and gives a platform which raises a leader . It might be based in a small city ajmer but the facilities provided here are very good . It has been accredited A++ by NAAC in the recent inspection.
- The sports are another important feature of Sophia . Sophia provides a great range of activities from swimming to gyming to each and every sport practice.. they have proper coaches for all the sports .
Dislikes
- The hostel is a bit overpricy but if you love in a pg it's actually better but in terms of safety hostel weighs more.
- There are a lot of overarch and other programmes but in specific subjects and field ,college must open interships in every field .
Admission:
The course has a basic eligibility of 60% marks and above for English honours you have to give basic English aptitude test , rest in any other course no entrance exam is taken. Admission process is very easy and reliable .

- Maximum no. of teacher's are qualified and teach well
- College take students Educational trips every year
Dislikes
- Infrastructure and campus is not sufficient
- Internships are not provided for every course

There is no entrance exams take place for admission in my college, students who got 50%or above in their 12th board are eligible for admissions.There are no reservations benefits in my college.Exams are take place semester wise every year in the month of November -December and in month of April -May
Likes
- The most I liked was there were 20 plus clubs and forum for students which they can participate in according to there choice
Dislikes
- There is very strict rules regarding the use of mobile phone
- The CR and other candidate shouldn't be given more than 2 batches when election's are held

The college is as expected as good and there is no bad experience till now. At the time of admission, we need to fill the admission form. As it is near to my city Kishangarh and it is one of the best girls colleges that I have heard about. I get to know about this college from the reference of my relatives.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum, Academics, are vast and give many opportunities in our college. Faculties specially of Honours subject peacefully teach us and never run with a syllabus. They take their time to give us notes and detailed description of our topics, they equally treated to us.
