A New Experience

Likes

There are many activities. It is the best part and anyone can take part in these activities
They provide certificate for every activity we take part in..
They teach.. in Many colleges teachers don't teach but here teachers teach and solve problems

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually choosing this course was my father's decision But the subjects were choosen by me The subjects I have are more about the sort of real world only So when ever the teacher teaches they Collab the topic with real life experiences.. The teaching and everything is good.. The odd semester happens in November and 1 or 2 month before there are CIA exam in which half of odd semester syllabus comes The even semester happens in April-May and 1 or 2 month before there are CIA exam in which half of the even semester syllabus comes Both the semesters syllabus is different

Likes

Our supportive principal , she is available for us for any kind of problems and also guide us with correct path
The management of all activities like sports tournaments, drama , fest , academics
Vacation camps , other language classes and clubs and forems

Dislikes

Completing short attendance assignments in library

Placement Experience:

In semester 5th student is eligible for placement . Companies like Private banks , and industry came for placement Highest package is 2500000 And the average package is 800000 This year total 25 students get placement from BCA department My plans is to doing Bped from other university its will help me in being physical teacher

College is good but need some improvement

The college infrastructure is good . Their are 3 computer labs in the college , a very big library which have over 10k books
Their are many seminars, workshop are held in the college most of them are free and students also get participation certificate
Their is placement for every department many companies come for the recruitment

Dislikes

Their is no 100 percent placement only 20-30 percent students got placed and the companies are not that good
Teachers come very late in the class sometimes they came after 20-30 min late in class then they take extra classes before 1 week of the exam
Their is biasness among students teachers gives opportunity to their favourite students only which is unfair

Placement Experience:

In semester 5 the placement cell start working on students placements. For our faculty Deutsch bank came to recruit the students and they selected around 30 students only this company has come yet . The other companies will come after 1 or 2 month but every company selects students their is no company who don't select any student. The highest package is of 5 lakh per annum and the avg is 3 lakh . The college offers. Around 20-30 percent students are selected for placement My plan is get a govt job or start my own business

Their is many extra curricular activities and programs, seminar are held in the college and the college also give certificate for encouraging students participation . It help to show the hidden talent of the students
There is a big library in our college and it have over 10,000 books in the library realted to every field and we can issue the book for free. Not only study related books are there but also their are magazine story books novels are there
There are many outreach programs are there for students which is free like social outreach, subject related outreach programs, factory visits etc

Dislikes

There is no 100 percent placement for students. Only few students are selected for palcements and companies which come for placement they are not providing higher package
The teachers are come late in the class . Their is 1 hr class and sometimes teachers come after 20 mint after the class started.
The office staff is very slow. If you have 5 mint work in the office they take half or 1 hr to complete your work then also many times your work is not completed it is just waste of students time and students have to skip their class because of this

Course Curriculum Overview:

BBA is a good course and it is a professional course that's why I choose this course also it is compulsory for us to do at least one internship after the end of college there is a paper of internship of hundred marks in 3rd year that is the thing because from this we can put our theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge. So this internship also prepare us for real world application or future academy pursuits. There are many courses in the college like personality development which will also help us in future. Improvement which college can done is teach us where we can use the technique which they thought like quantitative techniques financial techniques they have to teach us where we can use it. More than Theoretical they should focus on practical knowledge . Timing of CIA exam is 1 hour and the paper is of 20 marks. The external exam is of 70 marks and we have to complete the paper in 2 and half hr. The paper is not difficult but the checking may be hard.

Best girls college for study in Ajmer.

Likes

Our college ground is very big. And college have swimming pool, gymnasium facility.
There are so many activities to. Participate and to improve stage fear . You can also learn boxing, self defense, french language, drama, art here.
The faculty of science department is best. Best for studies.

Dislikes

Most of the chance in sports is given to students who have already played in their schools. No chance to freshers so dont think you will participate in various sports in college . Because they dont even give opportunity and team is already decided .
The college assembly- which is like school only it is very time consuming and take almost 30-45 mint even 1 hour sometimes.
Those who want to prepare for other competitive exams kindly dont take sophia hostel. Hostilites have lot of stuff to do you will not be able to give time to your extra studies much.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took bsc mathematics because I wanted to apply in indian forest services /indian navy as the eligibility criteria is they require either btech or bsc so i chose bsc. There is no need of improvement science faculty is expert in this college. Exams are not very difficult genrally questions comes from books not out of 1 book.

Review about Sophia Girl'z College Ajmer

Likes

Teachers there are well educated and supportive in nature they listen to the problems of students and give relevant solutions.
Placement training cell is also very good they give good and helful advice to the students to pass the PI or GD.
The way the garden and greenry is protected is the very good gesture towards the naturr.

Dislikes

Infrtastructe is good but it can be more beautiful if they take advice from students.
Some students do partiality in the college liek who have batches or in hostel they get privileges first.
The badminton court is left without any caring so being a badminton player I personally didn't liked it.

Placements are few but good. Recently Duestche bank had came to recruit students and the students does well any many of them got the placement with the package of 5.5 lakh per annum which is a good start. Other companies also comes according to there need in different faculties.

There are so many sports like boxing, table tennis, swimming etc
So many clubs to join one of the being entrepreneur club
There are trips for the batch and every batch goes to different places

Dislikes

Some teachers are old faculties so boring methods of teaching
A Lil expensive canteen according to the food

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible after the complete there bachelor's companies like byjus, Allen institute, dolche visit the campus almost 40% students are places every year in house. I'll be doing by masters after I get my degree.

My College Life in 10 minutes

Likes

The ambience of the college including closeness to nature and taking utmost care of the environment
Teaching methods: special teaching methods were used and special care was taken for students who didn't cope well with their studies
Amenities: Many amenities were also there such as swimming pool, gym, yoga, and many more

Dislikes

Library: The library was not at all updated as lot of old book piles were kept
Canteen area wasn't kept well for many years as well
Cleanliness: Sometimes classes were kept untidy and peons didnt kept those well

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is BA and specialization is psychology and why I chose BA is because I want to see the world with a different way and that's why I chose psychology. As we can see that these days there is a lot of these topics such as depression trauma etc revolving around us so that is why I chose psychology. In college the frequency of exams was in 2 months there were internal exams for 20 marks and in 1.5 months there was external practicals followed by end semesters exams for 70 marks. Exam pattern was moderate during end semesters and during internals exam pattern was slight tough!

Life at Sophia

Likes

Sophia provides a great exposure to opportunities and gives a platform which raises a leader . It might be based in a small city ajmer but the facilities provided here are very good . It has been accredited A++ by NAAC in the recent inspection.
The sports are another important feature of Sophia . Sophia provides a great range of activities from swimming to gyming to each and every sport practice.. they have proper coaches for all the sports .
It is very financially convienent as the course fee is less but the faculty is amazing . The best departments are Geography, political science and psychology apart from this there are many international courses , MUN and life skill courses as well .

Dislikes

The hostel is a bit overpricy but if you love in a pg it's actually better but in terms of safety hostel weighs more.
There are a lot of overarch and other programmes but in specific subjects and field ,college must open interships in every field .
The placement cell should try and and more and more companies to sit in placement.

Placement Experience:

In my course i.e BA there are placements from allen and resonance and other teaching institutes . There are placements in BBA and Bcom feild as well as in BCA feild .The highest package is given by Deutsche bank which is 4,80,000 and average package of Allen is 3,50,000. student get placed in the ration of 60-65%.
