Sophia Girls College Ajmer B.Sc Biology: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

My fees is 45,000 for a year which I think is pretty decent according to the course and activities. I'm not sure about scholarships though. There are in house placements companies come to campus and choose students.

The syllabus was well updated but still required some changes which definitely show some positive sign. College is planning to add more course for students in upcoming academic years. There were proper field trips and industrial visits. The faculty is excellent.

The course offered in my college is very apt for the required field. The facility provided in my college for Bsc bio is best for learning new things about zoology, botany and chemistry. My college has updated its course syllabus by seeing the competition ahead and by providing semester system and credit system on all the achievements I achieve will be credited and mentioned in my college. The best exposure of our courses are it's add on courses from which we can hold certificated and diplomas and learn new things and those certificates can help us in enhancing our resume. These courses give an add on to our personality in terms of creativity and building our confidence.

The syllabus is well updated and designed according to the various examinations like Ugc NET. Well industrial visit is for PG students. Faculties are excellent, learned and experienced. Teaching method include charts, powerpoint presentations etc. Classes are very interactive, also we have the oppurtunity to present PPT's and teach our classmates on a certain topic as given by the teacher. My college organises many National and international seminars on each subject.

My college has NAAC accreditation. Thus, it's curriculum is valid. But at the same time it is not burdening. Students can easily cope up with the help of teachers. The teachers are qualified. The teachers in my department were either doctorate holders or doing their PhD.

The faculties are experienced. We have had many field trip relating to the course and get practical assignment. The course is also apt but has a bit of repetition of 2-3 topics. Personal problems of students are well dealt and attention given to weak students. The practicals are taught well with proper lab equipments. College also supports students willing to do internships. College also has a placement cell providing jobs to many.

I thank myself that I took this decision to be in this institution. Each and every person in each faculty including mine are very helpful. Curriculum set was good. My faculty teachers were always there for me. I had joined many add on courses along with my studies

I am greatly pleased by the lab facilities, enlightning class sessions and monthly industry visits that were conducted by The Science Department of my college. In my college, we have a satisfactory student faculty ratio of 20:1. All the faculties are postgraduates in their fields and maintain a friendly relationship with students. I was guided through all the three years of my program by my teacher and mentor - Sister Swapana John.

I got really good teachers holding Phd degrees and we got to visit the seed dices institute, saras dairy for better understanding of our subjects. For chemistry we got experienced professors from various parts of the country.

The fee structure at my time wasn't soo expensive. It is reasonable. But changes might be possible.
