- Very spacious campus, had proper ventilation
- Building is quite old most of classroom lack smartboard , commerce block have had temporary building but latest technology was there
- Displine was one of there non negotiables , HOD's are highly experienced and helpful , overall joyful environment
Dislikes
- Jammer installed because college is right next to central jail, so no phone policy in college and this makes it although more difficult
- Experienced politics and favouritism which was not good part of my college memories
- Now post graduate courses have both boys and girls enrolled , earlier it was all girls college but now girls college have boys
Course Curriculum Overview
As it is deemed to be university and mostly courses is made to run along university syllabus. You can easily get through end term exam reading one week series. Altogether they prepare you for outer world by giving tough time . Extra co-curricular activities are over glorified. Some of teachers need to be more co-operative others do fine. Internal exam question paper is predictable but external exam and examiner are from different world I believe, why can't for once they build harmony with university professors it seems like they this institution more than anything else in this world.
Internships Opportunities
College doesn't provide any internship for students of arts in addition to that even when it comes to other two streams there's no such intership provided by this institution. College creates chances to experience life and learn from its hardly to face outer world in near future.
Placement Experience
Final semester students are eligible for placement but at times 5th semester student can also appear As this was for commerce student I don't remember about companies and total offers Highest package at that time was 10 lpa 15-20 students got hired through campus placement that year.
Fees and Financial Aid
It was around 36000 then in 2018 but in recent times it has increased . Other stream course had slightly higher fees because of pratical subjects. Even arts students also have such subjects as geography and Home science where you need to pay 1500-2000 extra. College also gives special discount for christian student in need based on financial and educational record.
Campus Life
Library has almost everything related to course and so much more . Majority of classroom were traditional with board and marker. Commerce block had smart boards. Sports and extracurricular activities were promoted.
Admission
I choose this college because it was all girls college plus reputed one since many decades. Admission process is simple, download form fill it and deposit offline along with necessary documents. Exam is conducted for honours students. Admission process was pretty smooth When it comes to cut off , it nearly 65
Faculty
Luckily my teachers were one of the best ones out there. We had internal that gave 30 rest 70 comes from external exam conducted by maharishi dayanand saraswati university. Plus out 30 20 marks for written 10 for assignment. College have semester system so two semesters per year. Mind you no amount of recounting or recalculating given to mdsu can pass you , they never increase marks just keep money for rechecking. Some of political science junior faculty actually developed our interest in subject.
Night Life
No night life inside hostel only different types of fines to control. Campus had gymnasium, canteen and library but only available in day time. Only Sunday outing was there and as police station is next door there's hardly any safety issues around campus.
