Course Curriculum Overview
I liked the subjects that were provided and the topics covered under it. It is very relevant to the field. All our internal assessments help us related it with real-life. The frequency and timing for exams is good
Fees and Financial Aid
It is 160000 but 10000 is refundable. After that it is 150000. 15% scholarship if you have scored above 75% in your 12th boards and 20% scholarship if you have scored 80%. The fees for abroad students is around 1800 dollars
Campus Life
There is a vast Library available which has everything and anything you need and easy to access it , even if hardcopy is not available, there is always a softcopy. The fests are usually in the month of October. There are lot of clubs , dance , music , psychology, literature and many more
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are very nice , there is good cupboard places , hot water is available all the time. Enough shelves are also available. Food has a lot of variety for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Before the academic year starts , there will be a link sent to the students mail regarding the dates of when the hostel booking opens. The steps will be explained there.
Admission
I got in other colleges butI liked the infrastructure of MAHE and it seemed very appealing and the staff also seemed very sweet. Everything was new here and I really got attracted to how the campus looked. There is an interview and you have to have 40% or above in 12th grade (for BA psychology course). The interview is very chill
Faculty
The faculty is very approachable. Most of the psychology department faculty are very nice and always there to help you out. There are mid-sems (4-5 , depending on how many subjects you have) and end-sems and for 1-2 semesters there are practical exams as well
Night Life
There are quite a few places to chill around in campus , especially the open gym area and track area. There are food outlets as well and a small mart within the campus. You have to be inside the campus gates by 9.30pm and inside the hostel building by 11.00pm
