A only negative point about the college is it's location other then this it is absolutely perfect in academics as well as EAA.

i give the exam of JEEE ADVANCED to took an admission in IIT. And this year paper was very hard as compared to last year, which causes of cutoff also and i secured around 47%. I wanted to study in IIT-KGP so i choose kharagpur. Kharagpur is also known for mother of all IIT'S and many alums also passed out from this IIT. One of reason to choose kgp is also that priviously my brother studied here.

My course is mathematics and computing. As this mainly includes mathematics and programming. and also value of branch increasing exponentially as people getting aware of this. in this course one can learn about coading-decoding, algorithim, data structure also.

Yes, the college too provide internship offer and even in the reputed company's also. Also, students are also free to join any internship offer and usually they also get internship as they are IITian.

Placements of IIT KHARAGPUR are excellent. Even this year highest package offer of 1.20 crore from google. Just maintain a good cg and there is no load of placement too as you are an IITian. Also students are exposed of startup also. Providing ideas, help in them and many more.

IIT kharagpur has maximum no. of societies and provide a wonderful platform to prove our self and to improve our personality. Here, we have Kshitij which is Asia's largest techno managment fest, Spring fest which is socio cultural fest of 4 days, Illumination other then this we have annual alumni meet, Empressario an event by Entrepreneur cell and many more. The culture of IIT-kgp is really amazing.

All IIT's have common fees structure decieded by Ministry of HRD's. recently the fee is very much increased in iit and being expensive. This year fee is increased upto 2 lacks of tutiton fess per year. Other then Tution fee mess, hostal and other fee which addded upto nearly 2lacks 80 thousands. there is waiver in fee also based upon family income.

Usually there is no such problem for loan even all banks are ready to give loan at low rate of interest. Even there is bank at iit's also which provide easily loan at low rate of interest as well as their prosedure is also easier.

IIT kgp is best in it's cultural activities. It has numerous societies which helps in building students personality. Robotics conducts workshop, events and many more. IIT kgp has campus of 2100 acre which is largest campus in india too seniors are friendly and there are people across whole country.

As IIT is being run by goverment. HEre's hostals are not good not furnished. in first year we have to share a room in between 3 persons, by this students get aware about other state can learn other culture. Also mess food is also not too good but Breakfirst is good and a heavy breakfirst. usually food being made in viewing the perspective of student care and made under supervisor.

There is an annual student alumni meet, intent of which is to have bonding between student and alums also time to time seniors guide and contact with the help of students welfare group.

As usual in other IIT's or in other college before end sem we have mid sem and 2 class test. All the normal labs are weekly and also before end sem have a lab test. Exam are not being very frequent, they are normal as in other IIT's or non IIT's colleges.

Professor of college are not good as usual understanding for them is bit harder. But they are helpful too usually going in class and listening the lecture of professor, sometimes feels the lectures to be boring looks like to listen loori But the professor of the college are highly educated and have a great knowledge about the course they taught.
