Remarks

I have applied for ARSD And Sri Venkateshwar college as these were the best colleges on the south campus. And I chose Atma Ram Sanathan Dharma college because the course I wanted was there in this college. I didn't avail any quota for admission but there several quotas available like 10% seats for EWS, Children/Widows of the eligible Armed Forces Personnel, SC/ST, OBC, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Sports & ECA quota candidate strength, J&K SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME. The Admission criteria are simple for every course in fact my course was for B.SC( Phy. Sci. With Chemistry) and it didn't take much time, you just need to take your documents like 10/12th mark sheets, Passing certificate, OBC, Or SC/ST certificate, your 12th admit card, recent photographs, migration certificate of 12th. The minimum marks required for my course is 86% in PCM and there is no minimum age you need to pass class 12th that's it. So admission is just simple you need to fill the form and these documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because I loved all the subjects Maths, Chemistry and Physics, and many labs are also available in this college for physics and chemistry. Faculty is also great they help you whenever possible and make you understand what you need to know, helps you in your experiments. They are very much experienced and qualified, they have a proper degree and know everything that you are doing. Teachers are extremely supportive and help you in any condition and give proper suggestion to any student who is suffering from any of his subjects, point out your mistakes and let them correct, clear your doubts and along with these they take a test to test your gaining and after that help you in getting better. So the teaching method is also extraordinary than you had before. You will have a semester exam and it's quite simple and if you have studied well then you gonna score well.

The college has been divided into two parts, the science building, and the commerce department block. While the CD block is relatively new, you’ll definitely find everyone hanging around the canteen area or in the huge luscious gardens. The buzzing gardens with beautiful flowers and green grasses everywhere, the huge library where you can issue and read books there, open corridors, and the bustling canteen area. Moreover, Mother Dairy will always be there to help you beat the grim summers of Delhi. They conducted the annual fest named TIDE in February 2020 and invited few famous personalities and conducted a competition with prizes. There are also projected classrooms for higher learning and with a good amount of space. A lot of Sports and extracurricular activities are on the campus and divided into groups. There are many societies with different work and Amenability. Societies/ clubs like Rangayan for dramatics, Arteysania for artists, Stellar for fashion, Vedanta for Hindi debating and etc.

Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

Placement Experience:

One can easily view the placement statistics of our college on their website. The placement cell of the college manages the placement process. On first glance, it appears impressive. But most of the placements are in similar fields of commerce like consulting or finance, followed by Arts and Science courses getting the least amount of placements. I personally have no faith in my course getting me any placement. So I'm preparing for government exams anyways.
