Remarks

I applied for GKCEM College For My Choice It is a very good College. In our college Is many Quota I have admission done by SC quota. Minimum maks is 60% I think. age is your no matter it is 13+ also. I have chosen my College & go into college with my all documents & everything the process is also done & there is no problem in any haphazard way for admission very peaceful & very easy process.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is so valuable & so much Interesting for me I am interested in this ECE department. Faculties are so much experienced & friendly here. It is so much helpful for our understanding matter. Faculties & students ratio is 10 on 10 Every faculty is so much experienced & highly qualified. They teach us so easily every topic. Our college is very punctual for exam Timing if you study well then you can pass easily.

Class Size: 1000Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Very Reputade companies come for placement on our campus. Like TCS Wipro IBM. The company are offered for internship us. The stipend is like 18000-22000/ Month. That is so much valuable in this situation. Very innovative projects were done there.

Placement Experience

7th sem students are eligible for campus placement. Many good companies come in our college average salary was 7L/ year. & Highest package is 9.5L/ Year. College tries every Student get a job like 60%- 100%. 90-95% of students are getting placement by our college. I am starting a startup with my degree.

Our course fees are so reasonable & it is at your cost. If you have sufficient money so you can choose our college it is fit in your price. Here is many Scholarship & many stipends here like SC, ST, Minority & SVMCM Scholarship.& More extra ordinary Scholarship.

Campus Life

Our fest & technical fest are done here & we very enjoy in this program if you can participate you also enjoy every event like Dance Sing Dram every thin. In our library, you got every book & reference book also. here is many club-like sports club CLS club & many more club. I remember we are attending annual sports that are so much Interesting.

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from 7 and 8 semester also their are many placement on thee intern companies. thier are total of 50 t0 60 companies that visits year which leads to very good placement percentage, in mining its above 90 percent. companies which come are infosys, microsoft, google , coal india, tcs, pwc etc. the higest pacage was 39 lacs by coal india. as mentioned above the placement is very good and almost everybranch placement is between 79 to 95 percentage of student which are placed, their are many mass recruiter if you didnt get the best pacakge you still have the chance to get a good package from the mass recruiter. my plan after degree is to advance in computer science even if i dont have the branch but i have the passion to do coding and become a web developer also i will try to get some more degree like mba and mtech and i will also try if i get selection to study abroad.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Don't be a minimum guy, Choose GKCEM

It’s Greater Kolkata College of engg and mgmt. under JIS group is one of the best colleges around for students. Though my department of Mechanical Engineering is favorite for its labs, facilities, faculties and it is as good in other sections also. Certainly, our college provides adequate infrastructure and quality teaching of the faculty members here. This college is affiliated to MAKAUT University and many top companies visit the campus during placements. The senior are quite helpful to the juniors.Its an anti ragging campus.
