Raima Chakraborty's Review On JIS University, Kolkata

I had not applied in other colleges except jis university. I didn't avail any quota for admission. In our university maximum marks required is above 70% and age 18+ . Just by a form fill up and giving the fees my admission was done.

I want to know more about drugs, medicine, and pharmacy that's why I have chosen this course. Faculty: student ratio is approx 60:1000.There are many overqualified faculty in our university who had done master's, PhD, and bachelor's degrees. After 6 months gap semester is taken and in btw semester 3intetnal exams are taken by the university, it is quite difficult to pass but not that difficult to fail

Just a year ago I had joined the university so still, now I didn't get any internship so I don't anything about that but my friend from other courses had got one so they can tell briefly about the internship.

In our university from sem 7, the student is eligible for placement. Im our university many companies visited like tcs, cognizant, Accenture, Cipla, dr reddy, sun pharma, etc. About 70% students got placed from our university. I would like to do a job after completing my degree.

Our university charges 56, 000 for each semester and 1200 for exam fees. A lot scholarship was there along with many job opportunity in our campus like Cipla, dr. Reddy, tcs and many more companies comes to our university for campusing

I have just entered the college a year ago and due to corona, I didn't get the opportunity to go to the university campus so I don't know about fest but I have listened that a lot of fests occurs. There are a lot of books and journals in our library in our course 300 books are there in the library and also sports like football, cricket, etc occurs
