Remarks

I applied for Bhim Rao Ambedkar, du and nmims. I chose maharaja agrasen because it is a government college and has better faculty in the field of finance. For b.com Hons one should have scored more than 90% in the 12th class and should have studied mathematics. The admission process is easy once u are eligible to take admission to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

This college takes exam semester wise. Every six months one has to take exams. To score good marks one should study very hard. But everyone is able to pass the exams. The faculty of this college is great. Really helpful. One can learn a lot if he/she is focused.

After 2nd year one is eligible to be a part of placements. Many companies offer jobs to our students like Deloitte, nestle, EY, KPMG, PWC and many more highest package can go up to like 8 9 lacks p.a. Above 6 cgpa students gets placements. Masters in this course.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship, no financial assistance and still in my college. This college is really affordable. 12000 per year. I did my undergraduate in less than 40000. Which is very affordable. And it's also worth it and reasonable.

Campus Life

In this college, there are many departments. Like Commerce society, Economics society, Training and placement cell, Theatre society, Dance society, Arts Society, Quiz society, In this college, we not only study but also this college really focuses on extracurricular activities.

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

Why DU has the best college life

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that great but decent. Mostly placements are good in the north campus but still my college provides decent placements. However one has to maintain their academic score for the same and be consistent.

I chose this college based on infrastructure as there wasn't much information available about this college online. Alsoz on the du official website, this college is mentioned as North campus which was a confusion for me at that time as I thought it was true but it wasn't as this is an off campus college of Delhi University. The admissions in the whole of University of Delhi is based on CUET scores. The preferences need to be filled by the students and then he/she is allotted the college according to the cit off and the scores. The subjects that need to be taken in cuet should be the same as in 12th boards. For humanities/arts courses the scores are out of 800. So, for arts courses the normal cit off for general category students are around 650, for obc students around 500 and for sc/st is much lower....Read More

MAC is magnificent!!

Same as CUET as all the colleges listed under DU has the same process. Its not that 12th percentage are ignored they too are calculated but ultimately the winner is CUET. Definitely MAC was not the first choice as it was the Hindu College but never mind MAC was good too....Read More

My personal experience of MAC

Earlier I got admission in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi but Then I got this one in second round of admission. And I choose this one because of it's fee structure that is less compared to others. And for the admission you have to appear in common university entrance test (CUET) conducted by NTA then you have to apply for the admission through Delhi University's counselling process which is common seat allocation system CSAS then according to your score and college preference you'll get your admission....Read More
