Remarks
It was online due to covid. The cutoff was released phase-wise. I got in the 4th one. There was tough competition among the students. The third list showed no seats left and I was scared, but finally, 4th list was declared where I got it. To be honest, one has o hardworking and meritious to get into such a top college in Delhi.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BCom Hons as I am doing my Chartered Accountant Course, and the subjects are quite similar to it. The student ratio is quite normal for the 50:50 girls to boys ratio. We have plenty of space in our college to hang out together. The faculty is excellent with pretty much every female teacher. The teaching is also superbly with quality notes. Exams are quite tough with Sem 1 Accounting paper out of the syllabus
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite nominal with 20k yearly. As it a Central University, most our tuition fee is sanctioned by the Delhi Government. The cost of study overall is quite high as rents for PG reaching 20-25k a month, so it a downside. The college also provides scholarships for the needy and economically backward section, and internships are also available with a 2-3k salary per month.
Campus Life
The annual fest of HRC is CONFLUENCE. Although I have never attended it I have heard stories of many bands and artists coming from various parts of the country to perform. Tech fest like ElectroGenic is also held every year. There are also books available in our library and journals for the stock market, trading, and investing are also available. Amenities in the classroom include smartboards and a microphone speaker system.
